Ok, some people have been asking when the Lair of the Shadowbroker DLC "takes place" in Mass Effect 2. As in can you play it before the suicide mission or only after.

I went to the font of knowledge (the Mass Effect writers) and asked them. They said:

"Like many of our missions, you can do the Shadowbroker DLC before or after the suicide mission. However, because we understood that most players would be coming to this after the suicide mission, we weighted the dialog much more heavily toward the assumption that the player had already completed it."

So, you CAN do it before you do the suicide mission, but you'll get a different (and possibly more flavorful) reaction if you play it after.

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks Chris, really appreciated. I'm going to finish my playtrough now, so i will be able to play the DLC immediately.

there will be a conversation betwen liara and your LI for example betwen liara and miranda, they already know each other from redemption comics so that will make sense

If it's basically meant to be played post SM, so it's post SM before I get the boosts.



So really, what good are the boosts supposed to do me?



Maybe I'm just not understanding something, but....that aspect, at least, seems pointless.

But my favorite FemShep, who I love to death to play as, Romanced Liara, then Garrus.

This is going to be... AMAZING. Now I'm going to have to make some choices... and... damn...

I'm stoked!

If you play preSM, it seems to mean you can rekindle the relationship with Liara and then move to other LI or is it blocked? Now it can really be called cheating.

Would like a conversation with Thane too. Ask if he wants to close the final left issue with his life.

Just met Barla Bon a few hours ago. His theory about SB being a group becuase of the volume of information involved does point towards an AI, if not SB itself, at least in the organization.
Or it could be the Council playing with everybody else in the galaxy to keep the status quo. Unlikely because of the ME1 renegade end though.
