You most have been playing the XBox verison or something. My Mako certianly did take damage from falls and bounces, on my PC.

I actually died a few times trying to get away from NPCs firing at my mako, because i took a sharp bounce or the Mako fell to far in the getaway.

I'm stuck working on Tuesday when this comes out, so I'll have to wait until Tuesday night to check out this and Witch Hunt for DA: Origins. But, since I don't have an internet connection at home, I'll be bringing my Xbox 360 and the crappy little TV I keep in my spare bedroom to work with me so I can download them. Then I'll be spending Tuesday evening with Bioware's bodacious babes (Liara and Morrigan).

That's the way I thought before I saw the Witch Hunt trailer which utterly sucked and lacked any sort of appeal. So while I'll buy that DLC too it will just have to wait.

Yup, XBox gamer here, wish I had the funds for a gaming pc/laptop - as it is mine is pretty much pants for anything but internet and wordprocessing

Usually with all previous DLCs was shortly after the BioWare devs got to work that morning at 8 am PST(11 am EST) so you're looking at somewhere between 8 am and 10 am PST or 11 am and 1 pm EST.

That's the way I thought before I saw the Witch Hunt trailer which utterly sucked and lacked any sort of appeal. So while I'll buy that DLC too it will just have to wait.

I guess the trailer is not as flashy and packed with action, and doesn't give the impresion of the same impending danger. But there is a mistery that must be revealed, and which I am very curious about. Spooky!

I am pretty sure it is "met" almost 99% sure, it would have been nice if companies started releasing trailers with subtitles (especially for those hard of hearing)..

When BioWare releases the DLC that IS when it's available to PC users because BioWare ONLY releases for PC. Miscrosoft releases for the 360 and they release between 2 to 4 am PST(5 to 7 am EST). Aside from that I've never seen BioWare release anything for the PC gamers later than 10 am PST(1 pm EST) though they usually release around 9 am PST(12 pm EST).

according to IGN, sounds like liara DOES become a squad member, though not sure if it's permanent. they also say the half hour they played was really good. here's the article:
