Where's she going to squeeze? There's no room on the party member screen.....the line is full. She'd have to be as skinny as a straw to fit in there.

haha that's all i've been wondering about for the past 5 minutes. maybe bioware will shrink everyone down so she can fit? maybe they'll make another row and another dlc could add ashley/kaiden. or maybe she HAS to be in the party and can only be for this mission so you only pick one party member at the selection screen

Obviously, it is IMPOSSIBLE to make changes to the party member screen!

I think she's just temporary (at best), though, and thus wouldn't even be visible on the PMS (best abbreviation ever).

I'm self-employed and dedicating Tuesday to this. I hope this doesn't mean that the x360 version is going to come out at Bioware hours even in Europe...

it's not bioware it's microsoft and they update every morning between 12am-3am PST. xbox live is always the first to get bioware dlc

We may just have to send a party member back to the ship so she can fit in for the mission.....sort of like when you leave a party member with Garrus for a bit.

Ya know it is easily possible for Liara to stay on the Normandy..she would just be like Dr. Chakwas and have a room somewhere on the ship. *This would have to be post suicide mission of course*

though she appeared in a pic of garrus tali shepard and herself in what looks to be a fight.. my speculation, and remember, this is purely speculation that she is only useable on this mission, and you may have control of some actions, at probably very limited periods in the dlc.. but you never know, it wouldn't be hard for them to add her name to the party member list screen, and afterall, there is a party member selection on the 1st floor, shepards floor, and directly under it, it says none. they could throw a room in to the right of the screen directly after you walk out of the elevator and wha-la.. there's everyone's precious liara

If you read the article from IGN, he states that during his 20min. hands on time, Liara was indeed in his squad.

If that were the case she would not be part of the squad at all so she'd only a temporary follower. the squad commands are only designed to control Shepard +2 so Liara wouldn't fit anywhere in there. If you have ny control of her it would be in a cutscene through conversation. Besides the scene you speak of is a cutscene.....it's entirely possible that someone can be sent back to the ship before its end.

im not saying it isn't possible, just more feasable.. in my mind, that liara will most likely only be able to be given commands, if that, in very small sections of the game, you never know, it could be like the SM when you split into two groups, that could happen, and liara be in your group, and other than that you only have speaking interaction, but I don't know, you don't know... just have to wait until the 7th friend..

reading this topic has created a lot of question that i've got about what will be in the dlc like:

1)if you didn't romance liara in ME1 will she make comments on your shep cheating on the ME1 LI you did romance, especially wondering what she says about shep hooking up with tali or garrus, my shep romances ashley in ME1 and then hooked up with miranda, cause of ashley's little tantrum on horizon( for the record i do consider it cheating i consider that ashley and my shep broke up on horizon)

2) what goodies(by goodies i mean upgrades, armor, weapons, fish/space hamsters etc) will there be in the dlc if any

3)will liara comment on legion being in sheps aquad
