I'll bet she does have a unique power, and that it will become available to Shepard after the mission.
But she will not join the squad or have a space on the Normandy.
That's very likely, yes! Maybe that unique power is the "new upgrade for adepts" mentioned by... was it Christina Norman?

I am still cautious though whilst I would love to have Liara as a reg on the Normandy I know sometimes these things just don't happen.
Another thing I am hoping for is that we finally get an explanation as to why the Collectors wanted Shepard's body and this time I hope it isn't for the lame reason that you can hear in the cut Liara Audio files.

If she becomes a permanent member of the Normandy, they can go dancing somewhere to celebrate.
Flux is gone for good , right ? I guess Afterlife's VIP will do.
But that's not important. Shepard has some new moves, like this :

There is certainly circumstantial evidence to suggest that Liara might not be leaving the Normandy after this DLC. The information that was released last week seemed to hint at the addtion of "Shadow Broker intel center". Most have assumed this means a new intel center on the Normandy. If that is the case then Liara is exactly the kind of person you want in that intel center.
Well wouldn't it make more sense if Liara was the one out gathering intel and then updated your intel center when she found something?

That's probably why Christina Norman kept mentioning how she'd have to dust off her Adept Shep for this DLC!clennon8 wrote...

I'm thinking that perhaps the "Shadow Broker Intel Center" is more likely to be a visitable location (maybe the Shadow Broker's base if there's anything left of it by the time Shep and Liara have finished). As has been mentioned, although the DLC can be played pre-SM it is intended to be played post-SM. Could this "Intel Center" be something that facilitates new missions in further DLCs?? Perhaps a new way of recieving mission info?
I can't take credit for this idea, but someone posted in another thread that perhaps they're setting up Liara and the Intel Center as a hub/plot device for the 3rd game.

Yes...this is likely. I think Liara will have it during the mission though....she will have 2 normal powers, one passive, then the bonus power that Shep can access post mission.
As mentioned earlier, one of her powers looks to be a tech one. Perhaps Overload? Then she might have Warp, plus a bonus biotic power.

Yeah, that would seem more likely than an Intel Center being set up on the Normandy. Only 4 or 5 days until we find out I guess...

I wouldn't be surprised if one of her powers is Singularity. Giving her Warp and Overload would overlap too much with Miranda, I think.

I think it was explained in ME2 why the collectors wanted shep: they wanted him/her melted into goo and shep as a part of the Human Reapers main conciouscharmingcharlie wrote...

So, if you're playing with an adept there will be two singularity balls in the rooom? Nice
