Yeah, that's not a really constructive term. In fact, the thing is, what we (well, me and a lot of others are saying), that it's VERY PROBABLE that Liara won't be a permanent squaddie as of this DLC - we're saying that it's NOT CERTAIN. So you can save your "i told you so's", when the disagreement is over the certainty, not the outcome.

It's essentially the same thing....It's like a cop-out basically where no matter the outcome, you end up being right...You cant straddle the fence, choose a side sir

You know, a wise man once told me you can straddle the fence, just make it comfortable. But thats exactly it. As I said its all speculation, no one knoes yet

All I want...Is that if the Liara Fans are proven wrong, that they dont flood the forums with the inevitable "Zomg!! Why isnt Liara a Squadmate I got soooo ripped off I hate Jooooooo BioWarez!!!" threads. As I said, it's inevitable....And as pointless for me to hope for as the current subject matter lol.

That's possible.  I figure it would work similar to an Engineer's Cryo Blast (enemies are paralyzed for a short duration and take extra damage during this period) except the paralyzing effect would be instantaneous unlike Cryo Blast.

Bad news would be that only Liara could use it and our Sheps couldnt take it as a bonus power....Because if we were to go by the usual SoP, the only time you get bonus powers, is from recruitable squadmates.

Even in the end, the Liara fans STILL hold on to that final ember of hope....They fan it, blow on it.....Do everything they can to keep that hope alive even when most of the facts are already on the table and said evidence is stacked against them.  It's almost....admirable....."almost"

Well... if you have hard evidence that she won't be a squaddie... by all means share. Unless it comes directly from Chris or someone at Bioware it doesn't mean a whole lot to be honest. While I'm sure you have a list of the whys and why nots... it just doesn't matter. Unless you are a developer on this game it's all supposition. Just like my opinions and everyone else. I believe Liara will be a squaddie. You don't. Leave it a that and don't make fun of a certain base of fans who believe differently from you.

if she says she will join u after the mission,what happens when u die? it will be her fault for not being thereB)

You can do that with Gibbed's Save Editor.....which also allows you to give both yourself and your squad mates more squad points too.

PS: YES it can be used with xbox360 saves too, I use it on my 360 saves a lot, you just need to make sure to download the 360 version of Gibbed's Save Editor.

We may not get Liara as a squadie but we will get her in ME3 witch is a lot more then Tali witch can die in ME2.....we win you lose dead with it

I've played ME1 to death. I have built 8 different level 60 characters(over 30 playthroughs) and equiped them all with all the best gear the old-fashioned way........scavanging and going through truck loads of loot.....well for the armor and upgrades at least.

So do NOT tell me I haven't 'experienced" ME1.

In the "Cult of Tali's" defense, they can have Tali in ME3 as well if she lives during the SM...Which, in case you didnt know, is VERY easy to do lol.  So really, EVERYONE wins in that scenario? Me? Im more of a Syrina fan myself

Let me add a little more to what I said. I'm the type of guy that only plays 2 Shepards, and will never change their past just to experience something different. I also refuse to make another character, because I don't want to lose track of who my characters are, the things they did, and relationship they made, etc. I'm also the type of guy that won't romance someone I don't care about just to see differences.

Unless they get there saves deleted or currupted and then they have to play the defult Shep withc has Tali dead
