Nah, I would say by the afternoon EST.

Yep....PC only releases after BioWare comes in to work at 11 am EST(8 am PST for them).....usually release happens around 12 pm EST.

I use to think that too, but everyone doesn't work the traditional 9 to 5 anymore.  In reality, when you break your mind out of that construct you find that there is a lot of money out there that few people know about.  Next time you go to a sporting even and you see a beer man, ask him how much he makes a game and then find out he only works 2 hours.

Can happen in both, but more satisfying if played afterwards. We don't know if anything will change if you play before vs. afterwords.

Man these 24 hours are torture.

I think it will be playable from the moment you can travel to Illium. But you might get different (better?) dialogue if you do it after the suicide mission.

Overlord took me around 1 - 1 1/2 hours, but a review posted a few pages back said this would be longer.

Fraid not as far as I am aware Overlord was released at around 5:53pm in the UK.  Looking at the time stamps of all the paid DLC there is a window between 5pm and 7pm in which the DLC is released.  I don't expect it to be any different for the Shadow Broker DLC.

As for the size of the DLC a previewer said that he had been playing it for 70-90 minutes and a Bioware rep stated he was only 40% of the way through the DLC.  So going by that you can expect a length of about 3 hours at least.

Systems were down; it wasn't physically damaged besides some cosmetic issues. That's how Joker picked you up post mission.

well i wouldnt call several huge holes in the garage area as an cosmetic issue

And there is one more issue with that. Bioware might use the damaged ship as an excuse to its changes in ME3
I rather see certain signs of battle (the wracked garage level was done anyway, thy should use it without a lot of work ) as the continuation of the story is hence more plausable

i am siting here in the UK 1 hour from the 7th and now i find it wont come out till the USA catches up now thats depressing we all no how slow the americans are by the time they catch up we will be well into next week

I am in Australia. We have to wait until roughly 2AM tomorrow to get the DLC. It is 8AM on the 7th. I don't think I can wait that long. Except that I have to complete the suicide mission on my second playthrough to get the ending fir LotSB

XBL will be fine and without issues. The BioWare servers for the PC.....those are to worry about with two highly anticipated DLCs releasing simultaneously.
