Her
face model may be the same, but the textures are definitely different.
Liara usually had light purple lips, now they're a darker blue. It's
also darker around her eyes. Definitely something changed with her
make-up or something since we last saw her on Illium.

I dunno... Damn, I seriously hope I'm wrong and it's an eye error, but "the New and Improved" Liara doesn't spark much confidence on my end. The trailer was awesome, I admit, the first time I watched it, my jaw dropped and it hazed a bit.  Upon closer inspection, though, surprise-surprise, Liara looks... not like Liara.

I'd repeat my post, but I'm not going to debate this subject with you.

In short: you don't care about the character, fine, but I do.

BTW, the characters are part of a story, you can't exactly ignore them.

 if they made liara with a ****** than yea we all would have something to complain about but i think its really pathetic that you asume someone dosent care about a charachter because they dont follow your views. and no eyes dont make the charachter nimrod the story of that charachter does.

Apparently, changing someone's eye color is no big deal. Hey, it's just a video game... :happy:

upon closer inspection i noticed they gave liara benezia eyes.... i wonder maybe if liara will take her mothers place as matriarch now because think right when you first see her she mimicks her moms voice saying have you ever faced a asari commando unit before? and now she has her mothers eyes... anyone see a possible pattern here?

That may have made sense if she was different in appearance in vanilla ME2, since there was a two year gap, but she wasn't. They updated her model, sure, but she still looked the same: still like Liara. But now it's going to be that she changes suddenly from one Illium visit to the next. That just doesn't make sense. Especially for a long-lived species like the asari who would slowly change in appearance over hundreds of years, not suddenly between one day and the next. It's going to especially be jarring for those who only just did her Illium quest and then immediately jump into LotSB for instance.

Then again... this is from the same people who wanted us to swallow that thermal clips circulated around the entire galaxy (and beyond) and replaced an entire weapons system to the point of extinction in less than two years.

Awwww, that is so freaky, it's not even cute anymore. Liara is too emotionaly unstable at this point. I preffered the old clumsy, nerdy and shy Liara. The new one is too "Jack" for me (I cheated on her, so I've got some explaining to do in the DLC, jikes). We're probably lucky she didn't smear her lipstick all over her face.

The whole video was amazing, specially the part where we'll control that flying car. Also, some parts were very intriguing.



As for the new Liara's face. I noticed the change when I looked at that new picture they launched and I as much as I try to find a logical reason, I can't come up with one. For me, it looks like they just decided to change her face because they thought it would be cool. But, whatever, it is no big deal to me because I prefer her new face.
