I actually think Liara looks ten times better now. I wish she had always had this look. Though she hasn't changed all that much. This just goes to show "simple" changes can have really good results.

today I just bought mass effect redemption graphic novel (comic book) to find out this whole shadow broker thing. it's one book to include everything what was happened to Shepard body and Liara herself. I didn't read it yet. it will be interesting.

Wouldn't be surprised. BioWare seem to be in a habit lately with changing things just to make things "cool," rather than for any decent, logical reason. Take the completely stupid decision to have squaddies running around in battle and possibly hazardous environments wearing no protection beyond a breather mask. They seem to prefer style over substance lately, rather akin to modern Hollywood who'd rather make stuff flashy than good and hope there's enough people to go "Cool! That's badass!" to the point where those of us that go, "Uh... that's completely retarded!" are drowned out.

This brings the following question to mind: has it been mentioned if there is some requirement for when you can play this storyline? Can you activate it as soon as you get to Illium? Or does it have to be some time later?

Maybe this was what Liara was intended to look like in ME2 from the get-go, but for whatever reason was left out of the shipped version of the game. This DLC allowsthem to fix this. EDIT: This is not a "THIS IS DEFINATELY WHAT HAPPENED AND YOU ARE WRONG!!!11!!" post, in case it came off like that. Just my opinion that it's better to wait and see.

Considering her model was already redesigned slightly for ME2, I doubt that very much, otherwise they would have just made those changes in the first place.

I'd just really like to know why they did it really. Because right now it just seems like a pointless change for the sake of change, which always just pisses me off.

I hope they're not planning on pulling a Dragon Age 2 with ME3 by giving the whole series a complete visual overhaul and this is just the first taste we get of it.
