When you declare, for no reason, that you've saved the galaxy a couple of times.
When you start having flashbacks of your time on Akuze.

You play through so many times you lose track.
You know both games well enough to complete a full playthrough without forgetting anything.
And the coup de grace: when you convince yourself that you somehow did forget something just to go back and play it over again.
My name is Bill Shepard, and I am a Mass Effect addict.

You know you're addicted to Mass Effect when you get depressed everytime you finish playing the trilogy knowing that you have to say goodbye to characters you love but you don't want to and when you'd rather sit at home and play ME than do anything else.

-You load ME2 up just to walk around upper Afterlife for the atmosphere
-You fall asleep listening to codex entries (I did this about a week ago)

When you lay awake at night thinking it might be a good thing to be abducted by aliens, because you might meet someone like Liara and fall in love.
Then you remember The Reapers. And the Collectors.

When everything you own is in forms of red and black to keep the "N7 theme"
Read fanfics about your favorite characters and imagine that their amazing relationships are real (MShepxTali & FShepxGarrus)
Look at high school vocab books and see words like sovereign, illusive, paragon, renegade, juggernaut, citadel, catalyst... and all you can think of is Mass Effect
I probably could keep going, but I think everyone realizes that if you're willing to post here then you're obsessed...

When you start thinking about your responses to real-life questions with a dialogue wheel.
When you think before responding in everyday life going, "Wait, is this a Renegade or Paragon response?"
When you actively incorporate "I should go" into your farewells then find yourself the only one laughing.
When you find yourself incorporating Shepard's killer dance moves into your own and then... (facepalm)...

17- Guilty. I find I say "It's what I do" and "you think I care, that's so sweet" more often than I should.
omg i say those exact things myself and only just realised it.
my contribution: you know you're addicted to ME when you have dreams about geth chasing you. yup, happened to me.

When you start saying "vid" instead of "video" and don't realise it until a friend tells you.
When you have to learn to stop saying "I should go," despite it having been a normal part of your vocab because now you can't unthink "Shepard" whenever you do and your friends won't let it slide any more once you played the game.
When you dream about the Normandy crew.
When you take way too many screenshots and videos of ME and learn how to make gifs specifically because of ME.
When you learn how to use a 3D modelling program just to fix some small thing in a mod for ME.
When you spend too much time daydreaming about headcanon stuff for your Shepard, their story and crew.
When you find yourself crushing over one of the love interests.
When you order ME merchandise from the other side of the world.
When you try to get better at drawing so you could make some nice fanart of the game.
When you spout random Harbinger's lines (I KNOW YOU FEEL THIS) and other ME quotes for humorous purposes because, let's face it, they can be applied almost everywhere.
When you spend way too much time analysing the fictional characters' backgrounds, motives, and feelings as if they were real people. Actually, you spend too much time analysing pretty much everything about the game.
When ME is pretty much all you talk about with your best friend.
Damn this game. I think I need help.

We should open a counselling thread
I'm sure there a lot of poor victims to the ME franchise!
I made huevos rancheros yesterday...I felt like such a damn geek, but it was really tasty! Definitely not the last time I made that, haha.

No kidding!
This franchise is a life-ruiner.
You go! I hadn't even heard of that until ME3. Looking at Google Images, it looks freaking delicious.
