I think it's really neat that, if you were a Dalish Warden, you suddenly get a brand new attachment to this DLC.

Agreed. My current Warden is Dalish and had a romance with Morrigan. Should make this playthrough interesting.

Completely off topic, this reaffirms my belief that Duncan is a terrible recruiter.

Whatever happens Morrigan still has a future role in DA.  I'm more sad this is the final adventure for my warden. :crying:

Leave Duncan Alone!

Looks like Morrigan is up to no good after all. Also I have a question. In every playthrough that I had Morrigan went west, to Orlais and became a court mage of sorts. So how the hell did she end up in her skimpy outfit in the middle of Korkari wilds again searching for some cursed Tevinter artifacts?

On a totally unrelated note: what is this thread doing in DA2 forum?

Well I told Morrigan to gtfo at a lot of my playthroughs, that doesn't mean anything. But seriously, when was it announced that this would be the final DLC? My nerdrage synapses are in "LETSGO" mode at the moment.

EDIT: nvm, just watched the trailer. I can officially sulk now.

When the DLC was announced was when Bioware said it was the final DLC.

Yeah, its unfortunate. I believe that there was supposed to be DLC released for DAO for 2 years, but then DA2 came along...

And is it possible to kill Sten aside from leaving him at Lothering? (And I believe that if you do leave him there, then hes dead. There is no way he could survive, and he wanted to die anyways.)

I was wondering something similar. I think BioWare maybe running into a lot of 'remember all that stuff we said earlier? it doesn't count' moments in the future. Risk you run with any sequel but considering how awesome the lore of DA:O was it's gonna suck more than usual.

OMG.

Finally.

A reason to play as a Dalish Elf.

In other news, does this mean that Morrigan can die? :]

The way he must be going about recruiting doesn't make any sense. There's some kind of tournament for what's his face from Redcliffe and he catches Daveth trying to steal from him. And then there's a 3rd Warden (ours) that he picks up from whatever lead he just decided to follow despite having known of it for how long?

Not just that but he seems only interested in recruiting humans. I can understand not wanting to take away from Orzammar (they desperately need every able body) but why does he only sojourn into the Brecilian Forest because he senses darkspawn? Or is this about the Dalish ignoring whatever commitments they'd made to the Wardens? They seem perfectly willing to take you hear you out when you show up on their doorstep.

Yes, I would rather have 100 Sten DLCs rather than a Morrigan DLC. Unless you've done the DR and reeeally want to see what happens to your precious godbaby (which accounts for most male gamers I assume) Morrigans DLC won't really be all that appealing. But DA caters first to the male demographic, so I shouldn't be surprised.

You can tell Sten to leave I think, though WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT ITS STEN. Ahem.

Well, at least they got Claudia to reprise her role.

It's probably a good thing, that I have to wait a few days before I can buy the DLC. So I can look up the reactions, the DLC gets.

Well he also recruits the city elf...

Though I spent time to become her "friend" (term used loosely) I really do not trust her motives in the slightest. I have a feeling my Warden wouldn't hesitate if he/she found out that Morrigan is using the baby for ill gain.

Why such hate for Morrigan?

And I would have loved more DLC's. I would have liked to have had something with Zevaran, and see Antiva.

I love how people have romanticized the Qunari and Sten.

You all do realize they're a horribly xenophobic race hell bent on conquering and wiping out every other culture in their world right?

Funny things happen when two people from polar opposite cultures fall in love.  Barriers can and have been broken down.  It's certainly not easy, but far from impossible.

I don't hate "hate" her, but the only time I've felt a real connection with her was when I played as a male. When you're a female Warden, Morrigan is just mostly shrew-ish and doesn't do much for you in the friend department. Especially if you play "nice" Warden. I can take a certain amount of renegadeness, but really, Morri? You want me to sacrifice these elves to get +10 Const?? [uses Slap Morrigan mod].
