But Morrigan herself was weak, a second-rate mage. Would she disapprove if I drove a blade into her moldy heart? Survival of the fittest is a broken and ridiculous stance to take, because everyone is weak relative to someone or something.
I can "prove" her supposed philosophy by intimidating the merchant into giving his goods for cheaper, yet morrigan disapproves. Did I not put this "weakling merchant" in his place? Or is Morrigan simply a hypocrite? Or an idiot? The merchant wasn't strong enough to drive off those poor people and asked ME to do it.
Your view of things is incredibly skewed. To morrigan the merchant was in a position of power that he placed himself in through cunning. The villagers were weak because they had the power to change their circumstances as it related to the merchant but didn't and instead relied upon someone elses intervention.

He was, however it was made mockingly at people exactly like you.

Thats why I used Milosevic! Muhahhaa! Honestly, I don't know how I got sucked in this far in a discussion about an NPC I don't hate at all. Jeeebus.

Urm, I don't "hate" her, in fact she is 3 times out of 5 usually in my party just because banter is a little more fun when she is around, but your idea of what is "politically correct" is kind of weird.
Example:
Not being politically correct = Is to use the term "midgets" instead of "little people".
Unabashed cruelty = Is to support the death and destruction of other people (like the elves and the mages) because they are weak/just because/it will bring you some sort of gain like +1 Constitution

Godwin's law is a man's last resort.
But using Godwin's Law means you have nothing else to fall upon except for a comparison involving Hitler and the ****s to try and prove your right. Every single discussion, if dragged too long, falls into it and essentially means that the person who invoked Godwin has nothing else to say.

Morrigan had issues but I've never understood the dislike of her. Especially when compared to a self-righteous and utterly deluded character like Leliana.
I married the queen and became KING MUTHA F***A
Leliana sucks, and morrigan can go kill herself, in fact if that was a dialog option, i would encourage her to. Only nerds liked her cause she showed her bewbs with that ****** robe she had
By all means, continue destroying your credibility.

My final resort would be to say "Morrigan hates dwarves. Not tall enough, evolution etc etc. Srry Dave."
Of course I'm kidding. Morrigan loves anyone who would slay her dragon-mom for her. Hell, I would love the pants off anyone who would kill a dragon for me.

You give money to the beggar and she disapproves because you made the beggar more dependent on you rather than letting him fend for himself, to learn how to become stronger by himself. Most of the time she disapproves because you're helping people who refuse to help themselves, people who are only getting in your character's own way for their needs.

Exactly. Godwin's Law is either a cop-out or a shock tactic, and your use of Godwin's Law was completely a shock tactic. Comparing Morrigan to Hitler to make people feel bad about connecting with her? Guess what, ****?

Morrigan is a social darwinist or something. She would probably also really dig Ayn Rand.

Yet Jowan was so weak he got himself locked up, and me letting him out gets me approval points from Morrigan.
The fact is I'M the strong one solving their problems, yet siding with the rich guy who was stupid enough to jack up prices to a bunch of desperate people while working alone gets me approval points, whereas putting the rich guy who thinks he can buy my cooperation with a small pittance in his place nets me disapproval.
The problem is we get no option to bully morrigan and terrorize her and show her how weak and foolish she is.

Yeah, she struck me as a randroid a bit. One of those selfish people who think they are somehow creative or special when it was mere luck and having wealthy/powerful parents that saved them from being like "them filthy poors" that they so despise.

Exactly, If it was a substantial boost, it would be an interesting moral choice. The player could kill the slaves, significantly increasing the odds of defeating the Archdemon, or the player could take a gamble and tackle the Archdemon with their conscience intact. The way it currently is, the only point of killing them seems to be appeasing Morrigan and Sten.

You do actually. In the anvil of the void where she advocates keeping it instead of destroying it and you're all like "well i guess i should offer you to it" type of thing and she backs off her position. The other reason this isn't more common to me is because she is actually more powerful in the story/lore. The reason it wouldn't function like in the game is because it would be imbalanced.
As far as jowan is concerned.. Jowan made his own choice to resort to blood magic rather than follow the circle's doctrine making him independent in a sense. Releasing him was freeing him from an oppressor. Not the actual arlessa but the idea that all blood mages are evil.
