Eh go knock yourself out it's very easy to get it on any platform for about $20 and it is well worth it at that price.  I encountered no game stopping bugs on the PC myself but that's just me.  With the low expectation you have you'll almost certainly be pleasantly surprised.  The story is great but some the gameplay/mechanics is just annoying and/or broken.

Yay, we made it to page 100!!!

From what I've heard Alpha Protocol's issues are mostly technical. I can overlook them if it means having someone like SIE for company!

It'd be great to have someone like her in DA2 as well.

It does not suck. It's bug ridden, over-ambitious, and suffers from a bad case of genre confusion, but it does not suck. If you find it at a discount somewhere it is well worth it.

Agreed.  It has its follies (as do all games) but Alpha Protocol does a better job of making your choices matter than, say, either of the Mass Effect games (combined).

I feel I've misrepresented the scene a bit.
While it's true you're at a...well, "disadvantage", it's very much possible to reject her.
It's just very cleverly woven into the dialogue.

It's all very playful, really. But it's also quite clear who the dominant part is...

We are. (read above)

I actually really like the scene, because it places the NPC as the more assertive half of the relationship. It's a logical "conclusion" to the relationship as well, so it doesn't come out of the blue. It's all in line with her character, and the character you've played up to that point in order to gain her affection.

I wouldn't mind seeing something like it in DA2.
