I'm reasonably sure people are aware of that, what with Isabela sleeping with Zevran, Alistair and any male Wardens if you so wished in game. However, she'd also sleep with female Wardens and Leliana, which is most likely what is interesting people in a F/F romance thread.

I dont think anyone is thinking like that we have already seen Isabela kissing Male Hawke . We would just like the chance to romance her too .

Just for the record this is a thread about potential f/f romantic interests in DA2. We're not obliged to cover what that character's relationship with Male Hawke is or isn't. And if anyone feels that this topic is frivolous then you're perfectly free to go and post elsewhere about important things like what armour to wear and Mass Effect 2 references in Chuck.

I agree completely also, well said. Honestly, it never mattered to me what a given character's relationship was or wasn't to the male PC in a given game, a character that doesn't even exist when you play as a female PC. The fact that Leliana could be romanced by a male Warden didnt change the fact that she totally seemed like a lesbian when my female Warden romanced her. Going back a ways, Silk Fox didn't have any interest in men whatsoever when my female character in JE romanced her. And in ME1, when you romance Ashley as FemShep using the romance mod that lets you do that (fully voiced and everything, best ME mod out there), she totally seems only interested in women/FemShep. The fact that these characters can potentially be romanced by male characters doesn't effect the romances in any way whatsoever, its completely irrelevant. The fact that we can romance Isabella is awesome (and probably Merrill too), and that's really all that matters.

 i am pretty certain that isabela is going to be a romance option for both male and female hawkes as not being so would be out of character for her.

the gamestar article after the confirmation of same-sex romance called her "the bisexual blademaster" for honesty's sake.

I agree, but I hope you don't take it the wrong way that if David Gaider visited me in a dark cloak one stormy evening and asked me if I'd give up Isabela as an F/F LI for Aveline as an F/F LI, I'd be screaming "Yes" before he even finished asking the question.

Sky had a wife and child in Jade Empire, yet you could still pursue a romance with him if you were male. So, yeah, just because a companion was in a relationship with the opposite sex in the past doesn't mean they can't develop feelings for someone of the same sex. It happens in real life more often than y'all might think.

besides, i doubt bioware will write aveline as a F/F romance option, when isabela was written that way in origins.

As it has been said before 10 years is a long time . After a proper mourning time there is no reason for Aveline not to be a Fem / LI , we dont know she could be bi . Her marriage might have been an arranged marriage or a loveless marriage .

given that we know that Isabela is a romance option for the Male Hawke, it is likely she's also an option for the female Hawke. (based on the time we meet her in origins, she's clearly not picky about gender)

What does it matter if she had a husband? That doesn't exclude the possibility that she might be attracted to both men and women.
Leliana was in a relationship with a woman prior to Origins, yet she was bisexual and could romance a male Warden easily.

Sure, maybe Bioware won't make Aveline a F/F option or maybe they'll say she never got over her husband's death and therefore cannot be romanced by anyone, regardless of gender. But until we get some proper info on the subject, anything we say here is a fair guess.

I'm hoping for Aveline =) or Merril. I could see both of them a F/F but I totally see that it probably will be Isabella. Not that that would be too bad =) she'll be fun to hang with. Or perhaps it will be the case of having a pretty loose and fun relationship in the beginning with Isabella and then slowly over the years falling in love with either Merril or Aveline. That could be interesting.

I agree that the F/F LI will most likely be Isabella, but I'm totally hoping for Aveline! I guess it's possible we'll have 2 f/f options...
