I don't know exactly how people think Merrill, Aveline, or anybody really, are 'supposed to look' in order to be interested in Lady Hawke. I think its pretty much in people's heads at this point. If you assume that a character isn't going to be available to Lady Hawke, she 'looks straight' to you, and vice versa. Reality is that appearance is meaningless, just think back to DAO. Everything about Morrigan, from her appearance to her general attitude/demeanor, said 'bisexual' to pretty much everybody, and yet you had to have a mod to romance her with a female Warden. My guess is that Isabella and Merrill will be the base f/f romances and we'll need a mod for Aveline, just like Jack and Tali were supposed to be the f/f romances in ME2 before they got cut out at the last minute. I'd be surprised if Isabella ends up being the only one, but in DAO the Morrigan romance mod took maybe 3 or 4 days, I wouldn't be surprised if DA2 romance mods take half the time, so whoever doesn't end up being available in the base game should be available quickly enough, and then they'll all 'look bisexual' to everybody :) .

While BioWare really likes to destroy stereotypes, I think Merril just doesn't have this bi aura that Isabela or Leliana possess.

Leliana was never bi, giving in to the male Warden was simply a 'sympathy bonk' :lol::lol:

I dunno Glad, the femHawke VA files could be difficult to put in, or untreated like the femshep audio files for the ME2 f/f romances (by this I do not include LotSB ofc).

I have a feeling we will never see Orlais but I can dream for DA3

I don't know...

I know what you mean - I'd like to see Orlais - but the thought of all those English and American voice actors doing dodgy French accents makes my skin crawl!

Oh wait, it's not Orlais Posted Image

Hah clever...
Although to be proper a brothel it should be "La" Nymph since "Le" is masculine.

Depends on whats being served at the brothel.Posted Image

LOL.  At the very least, it's quite clear she leans more to the women than the men.  :P

not so much 'leaning' as 'knock you over and drag you to the tent before she loses her patience'. :lol:

I will always hog Leliana for myself, no matter what anybody else says... she's mine :lol:

Izzy is fine. Aveline would be just weird in my opinion.

And bisexuals tend to lean towards one gender over another . . . . Leli if you play both, and actually listen to her dialogue, clearly leans towards the girl's side.

Guys like you make me start to go that way every day.

What I meant to say is that they just look bisexual, maybe it's my gaydar speaking.

Ah yes, gaydar, also known as the ability to apply stereotypes. And the same thing that had people predicting that Morrigan would be F/F_OK and Leliana would be the straight one.

What would be wrong with Aveline, anyway? I mean, I'm entirely aware that she could be straight (the assumption that all female athletes/warriors/etc. are lesbians being far more wishful thinking than reality), but nothing that has been shown implies that she's not bi, only that she seems to be into men (with no evidence either way on her feelings towards women, so she could be either straight or bi).

I find this thread incredibly nonsensical, and I'm not sure what this is all about.

F/F Romance. Two girls (as in, people that are not men) having a romance and/or sex.

It's about the mysteries of lesbian love, my friend.

What could be better?

Sure, but does that clear the thread of being offensive? The title isn't, but some of the posts are.
I'm certainly no prude, but I am still rather disturbed by some of the content in here. I know I can just *not read* the thread, but it just struck me - why are people theorizing on this subject? It isn't going to make any difference anyway.

I mean, there are these fiery arguments on something that isn't going to change either way. On a subject that shouldn't be that important too, really.

That is true, I suppose... But what is the point, really?

This isn't any different than the vast majority of threads on this forum. If you find this thread offensive, then I suggest you simply not read it, rather than comment on it.

It's basically a speculation/romance thread. We've seen lots of those at any rate. This one should come as no surprise.

The point is to discuss a subject that IS important to a certain group of people who are looking forward to Dragon Age 2. Kind of like... the point of this entire forum.

While the speculation at this point is pretty much dead as almost all the companions have been revealed, we had a lot of fun speculating over the past few months.

Considering this is one of the few threads that has managed to go on for very long without any warnings from moderators (that is, a warning towards the thread in general and not specific users), I think we haven't don't anything wrong here, so if you'll excuse me, I'd suggest you simply get out and don't post if the topic offends you so much.

EDIT: Your username on the other hand is censored by the forum's auto-censoring on the other hand. Pretty ironic.

Which is an entirely valid point.
And about the vast majority of the threads being rather silly? Indeed.

But I'm just curious.

I hink a hetero "What kind of girl would you want for you MaleHawke?" containing some rather demented, creepy, objectifying (I'm aware it's a game) comments, not to mention quite sexually explicit posts, would be locked.

You know, if not deleted outright.

We have indeed... But haven't the majority of those been samesex threads?

While I wouldn't do it in this case, given that this is a game(not really enticed by digital characters), I'm just bitter I cannot(or assume that I cannot) make such sexual remarks. I mean, I would immediately be branded some sort of sexist.

There is the case of this moiligim fellow in the other thread. He may have been trolling, but he asked for Isabella to have big ****** and shut her mouth. Essentially content regarding the same subject matter of a thread such as this. He was branded a misogynist, and recieved a lot of excessive hate.
