Yeah as much as I want Aveline I can't give Isabela up for her.  In addition to is perfectly acceptable of course!

Pretty much. Aveline is out in my opinion, so that leaves Isabela and Merrill. Then, there are companions like Meredith (rumored).

For some reason, I think that Merrill is less likely to be bisexual, but hey, who knows. If I can romance her as a male, it's not a problem at all.

Bisexual rogues are getting just a little old. Isabela might be an improvement over Leliana (both in attitude and in being focused on melee over archery, which at least makes her a somewhat better bodyguard), but I'd still rather have Aveline. I'll take the devoted, stoic, heroic protector over the flighty, hedonistic backstabber any day. I actually have difficulty grasping why Isabela is more popular as a potential LI.

Which isn't to say I wouldn't romance Isabela as a warrior on a subsequent playthrough, but I'd definitely romance Aveline as a rogue or mage first.

Taken from Dragon Age Wiki:

the line "Merrill and I were to announce our Union. Tamlen was to bear our shield." is one of the conversation options with Maren in the time between being brought back by Duncan and leaving to search for Tamlen. Anyone else seeing this line?

Maren is the female Halla packmaster during the dalish origin. And i think i might have seen this line on one of my playthrough as well (i might be mistaken). It wasnt a dialog but a floating text when you clicked on the character.


Another thing is Isabella although confirmed to be bisexual seems to be the "canon" LI to male hawke judging from the Destiny trailer. I think in every Bioware game the "canon" LI is only romancable to one specific gender (eg Morrigan:Male Alistair:Female). So Isabella might not be the F/F Li here.

A bit of topic here but whos going to be the main F/M LI for Fem Hawke? Im willing to bet my money that Fenris is romancable, but I got the feeling that he's bi (maybe its the anime hair).

Is it Sebastian? But he's a DLC, that doesnt seems fair.

It's not Carver. So that leaves just one person, and you know who Im talking about...

This is my line of thought as well.  I have a feeling that even if Isabella is a f/f LI as well, it will be somewhat tacked on as some sort of gimmick.

I think Mary Kirby confirmed that the wiki was wrong about this and that there was no such line, that it may have been added by a mod.
