It could happen i suppose theres no confirmation that Merill is going to be a companion after all.

Then, she could be a temporary companion - or maybe, she is a companion for the first half of the game, and then leaves for a while, only to come back towards the end. That could explain her absence in that screencap.

It'd be pretty cool if Isabella flirted with one of the other team members, whether it was Bethany, Merrill, or Aveline, and we could choose exactly how to react to that. That would be a pretty unique, unexpected, and very cool addition to the romance .

Im not that keen on Isabella, Leliana was perfect for me, a sexy kitten, clean but dirty, slim and svelte. Isabella is coarse, rough, over enhanced in the chest and a bit full of herself. I really hope Merill and any remaining unknown characters can be the F/F LI. If not I will have to get a face mod for Isabella to make her presentable. Isabella is fine for a team member but for my bed roll...i think not.

Similarly! That said, I'm really happy that she doesn't seem to be like Leliana. I loved Leliana, but I don't want Leli 2.0 in DA2. I want something a little different. I'd be perfectly happy with Merrill or Aveline as the F/F option, but I am far from disappointed with Isabela.
