How about someone Xena-esque? I don't think we've had a warrior type yet (Correct me if I'm wrong).

I know I already did this earlier in the thread... but I just can't resist a rerun! :P

Xena? Pffft! Callisto!

I liked Callisto more than Xena too + the acctress is smokin.
But everytime i see pictures of one of these TV shows i cant pretend i dont see how stupid and amateurish everything looks. :crying:
Maybe that just me, but i really am more fond of the writing/ my blurred memorys of that series than seeing actual screenshots again. :bandit::lol:

Not a problem! We can always stick to Ms Leick instead:

Make my LI look like that and I couldn't care less what class/personality/alignment she is, I'll be ecstatic!:wub::wub:

But I think the original point was about a warrior LI and I agree that we haven't had one (unless you count Juhani) and it really is about time!

A crazed bad girl who melts in the presence of my FemHawke? Do want! ;)

Sure Callisto is hot and bad ass, but wasn't she also like batsh** crazy? I support a crazy and attractive LI either way, Lady Hawke will just have to sleep with one eye open.

Do we want our DA2 to be similarly... endowed? Or more... conservative?

What are we referring to here? Buns or honkers? Because the honkers are guaranteed to be spectacular, based on the early screenshots.... of our sister...:?

I'm sure it will be reasonable. I mean, it would be quite the coincidence if all the female LIs happens to be on the large side of the boob spectrum.

So I finally watched the UStream "DA 2 PAX Day 2 Interview with David Gaider."  Turns out we can credit/blame (your choice) Varric  for the impressive/excessive level of female bustiness in DA2Posted Image

The D.G. quote comes in response to the very last question, at 28:58 in the recording.

Yeah, that was funny! He seemed a bit sarcastic about it, but I guess that's going to be the official excuse for the gazongas of power.

Well... I won't know what I think until I actually see the game in motion... but I suppose at least it will make kind of a nice change from the usual default 'athletic' physiques. I do hope BW aren't going to become the Tecmo of rpg developers, though... :pinched:

It would be pretty amusing in a mean sort of way if Bioware decided to make the F/F love interest a dwarf. :P

When we get more info on the available companions, I'm sure we'll be able to figure out who it will be fairly quickly.

That said, I'd like to be able to slowly steal Aveline away from her husband Wesely. Doing it as a woman would be another layer of delicious to that "romance". However, I suspect Wesely is going to die early on and Aveline will be another Jaheria in how she conveniently falls for the hero (male of course) while the corpse of her husband isn't even cold yet.

Agreed. But hell, I think it's about time we got women shaped like women in RPGs. I'm not saying everyone, but damn, a woman with some curves would be nice (I don't mean Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball, mind you). We had a bit of variation in builds in ME2, so let's have the same in DA2.

I for one welcome female characters build more like Jennifer Tilly than Jennifer Thomas... not to say I don't like muscles on girls too, I just like them a little bigger, you know? ;)

Agreed! It was one of the things I really liked about ME2... at one end of the scale you have Kasumi and Jack and at the other you have Samara and Miranda. Women are different and ME2 made some effort to demonstrate that. :)

The problem with women in DA is that they were using the same skeleton for males. Hence why certain parts were ape-like.

QFT. A nice range from small and perky (Jack, Ashley, Liara, Kasumi, Kelly) to prominent and roundy (Miranda, Samara, Aria). Variety FTW!

I want a dwarf!
Could shove off those people who are only after eye-candy and whose beauty ideal makes them hate dwarves.

But the writers, or at least the big Overlord has told of his distaste towards dwarf romances.

Let's cry together!

And the more pics I find of this Lena Headey, the more I agree with Yana!

EDIT: Now, to get back at the F/F discussion, if we had the option for LIs that aren't in our party (NPCs across the gameworld), would it be nice to have a girl that worked for the enemy? A potentially tragic romance?
