Mondo, you are just full of win! :wizard:

Agreed, either of these would be awesome... and the second would certainly be very different!

Like I keep saying... a big, strong woman to sweep me off my feet... do want! :D

I must say the second picture is just a bit to much for me. I have nothing against muscels and everything, tis just isnt it for me. I prefer more the athletic build, if we talk about sporty figures.

Sorry for the picture, i try to find a better one without all the writing on it.

@Ciryx:

I prefer athletic figures too, but I wouldn't mind having a lady like the one in the other pic. If we were going for a realistic vibe, she'd be much more feasible to pass as a female warrior.

And she's still sexy! Double win.

There are no big girls in videogames of either type (anyone mentioning the Broodmother at this point can just get on the Failboat)... plenty of very slender women with chests that would give them serious back problems in later life, but no women built like women. ME2 hit close to the mark by having different body types, but in fantasy games women tend to be a little too waiflike. My father collected swords; Eastern and Western, some are just display pieces, but others are fighting-weight and seriously crafted. In my basement I have a hand-and-a-half that weighs about 16lbs... I'm yet to see a woman in a game that is built to wield a sword like that for longer than about five minutes without passing out from the swinging. Some war (as opposed to lighter hunting longbows) longbows required upwards of 160lbs of pull to draw... I know this is fantasy, but please, a little more realism! Physical strength need not be a trade-off in looks, nor is carrying a few more pounds in jiggle.

Give your waifs knives and daggers by all means, but if a woman is going to have a two-hander or a battle axe, give her the build to use the damn thing! And one day I'll maybe get my dream of a sorceress or witch who has hips wider than her shoulders, a round stomach and cleavage you could rescue sailors from... :D

Sry, Geth, gotta go with Pink Lady from previous pages. (Her, I'd love to take combat advice from!)  Lots closer to my idea(l) of a Warrior LI, which is what I've said I'm hoping for...

Yeah, those are my thoughts too. It was way too funny watching tiny slender elves handling twohanded swords in Origins.

Well, uhm... u are right.

It is way more realistic and eveything for a warrior, especially one that would wear heavy armor. And it doesnt look that bad either, its just, well. Its just a bit to much for my taste. U remeber the art for the female quanri? That was perfect for my tastes. And i would have seen no problem for her being a warrior either. :wizard:

Actually, you're right.

The femqunari art was perfect. She looked decidedly tough, well built, and sexy as well. I just hope that the female human warriors have a similar build.

And now you've made me sad because I remembered that we won't have a femqunari LI... :(

Oh, yes, i hope that too. But i dont think we will have it. As for now it looks like every human female model in the game will be the same. They will look differently with armor on and stuff, but... *sigh* well, its just not there. :?

Aw, didnt want to make u sad! Uhm, i could swear i had some of this positivfeelingcakes grabbed from uncanny as she was munching em.... wait. HERE! *gives u the cake!* :wizard:

Not sure which part caused confusion.  (Maybe both.)

As others have since noted, your Fraülein doesn't have enough mass to be a credible two-handed axe swinger (in my  mind, anyway).  Daggers, foils? Maybe...  Heavy armour?  No way.

Queen Gorgo reference was because it was a way to point to a strong, ruthless, (and gorgeous! Image IPB) female character who would be easy to find on the internet.

And while Lena Headey can fall well into the "waif-like" category, I think she displays a lot more strength than most her size.  Sure, it could all be gym-strong, not work-strong, (and helped by lighting) but we're talking FANTASY  here anyway!   Plus, she gets bonus points for having played Sarah Conner, another strong, ruthess female character.  "The Lead", in fact!

The femqunari?

She may still be lacking some muscle, but she does look tough and would make a believable warrior.

^ Awfully cartoony, but I can envision what a finished Female Qunari would look like. And she would be... GLORIOUS!

Let's talk about face.

I'd like our LI to look close to Julia Voth:

Darn!

Wasnt she the one who stood model for Jill Valentine in Resident Evil 5?

Come to think of it, ME2 did come far from what was established in ME, fan-service bisexual all-female race to a dignified and rich culture of aliens, for example. Romances were a breath of fresh air, even Miranda's assets had a backstory and was joked about by NPCs. They weren't there just for beauty.

And all right, here is my recent fantasy femcrush:

Image IPB

The Legend of the Seeker version of Kahlan Amnell from the Sword of Truth series was visually and story-wise very compelling. She was a strong and independent mystical warrior. And the boobesque robe and corset was in the lore. Image IPB

Bridget Regan. Definitely my type. That is exactly what I want my LI to look like.
