Just go straight for season 2. That's where all the Cara goodness is. Overall I was sort of disappointed by the series, but not in Cara. She is just amazing; I would gladly watch even for no other reason.

Huh? I thought the series was somewhat awesome myself. Like the books more, but still the series was kinda win. Especially the episode near the end of series 2 where Cara has a little F/F action with that other Mord-Sith chick (I was like "...yeeeeahh..." *in a creepy Jacob Taylor voice*).

But still...the series is great, the books are better (and I'm sure theres F/F in one of them too).

But on topic, I would like a Dalish Elf warrior for a F/F romance with my Caitlain Hawke mage.

I try not to be a purist and complain over every little difference from the source material, but my god...it's like they just took a list of names and maybe a couple of defining characteristics and ignored everything else. Not only do they make massive changes, they waste the opportunities those changes provide. I don't want to spoil anything, but let's just say John Rhys-Davies was there for one episode? All in all, it felt empty...sanitized...pre-chewed for easy consumption. They sort of turned it into Xena or Hercules...very serialized and shallow. Season 2 was much better; I'll give it that, and not only because Cara was there.

Anyway, sorry for going off-topic. In an attempt to get back on-, here are a couple more people I wouldn't mind having companions based on (although this could apply to M/F romances too):

Anyway, back on topic (well, sort of), if all we get are bisexual LIs, and no exclusively gay ones, I really hope that we get to see the difference between the romances with a female or male. This was done to a point in DA:O, but not enough in my view.

Ye, i liked her personality in the first couple of episodes. In the end she got a bit to much of the whole "vision" thing going on. But she was one of the best female Characters in Sci-Fi/Fantasy i have ever seen.

I agree. In DA:O it was imo just one or two conversations. All the other stuff was exactly the same, even the cutscenes. I really hope for gay exclusive LI. U can dig a lot deeper into the world if the writer can tailor the romance into the setting. 
Compared to Leliana/Zevran Morrigan and Allistair had way more impact on the story. (Allistair becoming King/Female Warden Queen / Godchild Witchhunt dlc etc)

Ah, Starbuck aka Kara Thrace.   Although, if we're going with women from Battlestar Galactica, then I nominate Laura Roslin instead. Insanely attractive older woman imo. Her eye teeth speech is one of the greatest moments in television history.

I want to see a female/female relationship period. ME2 copped out with that and only brought it back with Liara which was nice but still it was a cop out for people playing ME2 for the first time.

My ideal f/f relationship would be that the love interest would be more dominant in personality like Morrigan was. Leliana was too girlish for my tastes. She was ok as a love interest but seriously not all of us lesbian players want to be playing as a butch female. Some of us would like that the partner we choose to be the butch one in the relationship.

So, the warrior type is now most popular? Perhaps it would be a strong and dignified fighter with looks and determination.

I dont think they would fit into the setting of DA.
Can we at least keep our picturespam in context?
