Who cares what race she is? Isn't it the personality that matters in a character?
What about a Broodmother, with a class A personality?
I'd totally hit that. Just for the story.
Me too. Just for the
I think there will probably be one bi female LI, and maybe a few "hit-it-and-quit-it"s, but I don't foresee a range of choices for 'serious' f/f romances. My guess is that it will be human.

The thing about the "serious" f/f romance bothers me more than the fact that the bi option will probably by human.

Humans are ok too! Leli was human. Silk Fox was human. I found both of them to be compelling characters.
Not to say that I am particularly rooting for a human s/s romance, but a human option would be less polarizing than say that of a dwarf/elf romance. Though a f/f qunari romance would undoubtedly be a crowd pleaser, because, well, have you seen them? Dayyuuummm.
But since Mary has said that qunari don't have romantic relationships [*sad panda face here*] and we know for a fact that female qunari won't appear in DA 2, this is just something we can dream about. [I have it on authority that Bioware devs are powerless in your dreams, and can't do anything about your canon-breaking fantasies. This is pure speculation, of course.]

A warrior could feed the "butch lesbian" stereotype.

That is a fair point... but only if they had numerous warrior f/f Lis in a row.
Discounting Liara - the asari being a bit of a fudge - the last four s/s LIs have been Zevran, Leliana, Silk Fox and Sky. Now, If you keep going down the binary route and simply keep selecting the opposite to a perceived stereotype then you simply create a new stereotype. You combat stereotypes by showcasing numerous different personality types. That being the case I'm just arguing for a change.

Now I am back to hoping one of the bisexual LIs is a mage and other is a warrior. Or maybe there are even more, or maybe there aren't any. Bah!
As long as there are some! Otherwise:

Will Lady Hawke be the Jack or the Miranda of the relationship?

Tis would be awesome! Also very challenging for the writers. They would need to provide us with a reason why to stick together in the first place with that person and not just leave each other.
Pretty sure some people would say that this person is "forced upon you" if that would be the case. I still support the idea though, i am a total sucker for (potenial) drama.

Then you missed a lot of sub-context.
Anyways, my point is an enemy turned lover type of female warrior. Possible Kirkwall rival.

Jealousy over Shepard's attention and how Miranda considered Jack deviant and Jack saw Miranda as Cerberus's barbie b***h?
