Sorry, I was unclear. What I meant was that - after DA:O - having all the party mages be women is something I don't want to see happen again.

If there are going to be three mages, then that would be fine. But with the fact that Hawke can be a mage too (making a potential squad with four mages in it...) I don't think that is likely.

Well what about real homosexual type? I mean Zev and Leli are more or less bisexuals. So what about a female who only is into females and not into guys? Same for males, but that's not what this thread is about I just find it more interesting if companions are not just made to fit a role.

It's just that Bioware has pretty much confirmed that that's not going to happen, hence why we don't really discuss it anymore. I'd love for it to happen but it's not.

Anyway, I'd like a girl who is ridiculously sweet and open, who is smart and funny, cute and adorable, has a bit of a rock-chic vibe, enjoys the arts but not in any snobby manner. Has a strong inner resolve and will, but likes to avoid conflict. She'd likely be a rogue, taught to fight by her doting father.

I'd agree there's a trend, but I guess most people are fairly predisposed to align medieval military styles with males. Not that her mother couldn't have taught her to fight, I wouldn't mind that. If I really was writing my own character she probably wouldn't be a warrior at all, but that wouldn't make for much of a party member.
