I really hate that bandanna... I hope at some point in the game I can tear it off Bethany's neck and burn it.

And I hope that, the bandanna isn't some new trend thats taking Thedas by storm because if  a potential LI is wearing one of those stupid things when I meet them I will kill them... somehow........

I'm serious... NO BANDANNA FOR F/F ROMANCE

You know I never noticed it until people pointed it out.

Mary Kirby (Senior BioWare writer and frequent forum poster) has told us that ALL characters have something around their necks to hide the animation "seam" between the head and the body model.  This is an artifact of the game engine, and WILL NOT GET "FIXED" any time soon.

Does it have to be an ugly, blood-caked-with mud-coloured rag?  No.  But it has to be something.

Better ideas?

Dog tags would be... different.  (Not modern ones, but something on a thin chain that was obviously NOT jewelry, but still shined. Couple of teeth, maybe?)

Personally, I hated that the go-to "hide the seam" thing for female characters in Origins was essentially a dog collar. I'd take a ratty old bandana over a collar any day. But a small necklace with a pendant would be nice. Or something like Morrigan's jewelry.

I didn't mind the "dog collar" to be honest. It wasn't ugly and it got the job done.

Jewelry and necklaces would be good for mages but not warriors or rogues. Well, maybe rogues.

"Dog collars" as you call them are damn sexy with a hint of kinkiness in it. I somewhat like them.

But I am certainly up for some jewelry as well.

I think this depends very much on the type of necklace.
I think some rough leather with a small dragon tooth on it can suite a warrior very well. Especially if the wielder is a more babaric themed one. i am sure that for templars enough chantry related jewelry is available.

I hope that whatever Bioware does with the romance sub-plots in DA 2, they decide to drop the lame PG-13 style fade-to-black stuff from ME 2. These are M-rated tittles, which have great stories and deserve romance cut-scenes that fit the tone of the other content.

Seriously, when I first watched the Shepard\\Garrus Scene, I thought I'd hit a button and skipped it accidentally.

This is a stupid question possibly, but are there any trailers or pictures featuring lady hawk?

Actually I could have sworn I read somewhere that there is going to be a FemHawke trailer at some stage. Couldn't swear to that though, could have just been gossip.

And as for a picture...

I'm shocked and appalled!
But really, I think it's a perfectly decent default. And as long as the freedom to change the features is available, I have absolutely no objection to the idea of a default in any way whatsoever.

So... what kind of LI would suit a girl like this?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest one of those ridiculously buxom heavy metal blondes.
You know, the ones in chainmail with the huge broadswords you see painted on the side of trucks in horribly kitchy spray paint.

I like making my chars prettier, well more girly for a better word- not that the one in the pic isn't 'pretty' just a different type of what I want for my own.

Oh, no, I understand completely. That freedom of appearance is part of what I loved most about DA:O.
I just meant to say that I think this is a good "face for the franchise" if she were to be used in promotional material or similar.

Actually, never having been so inclined in a BW rpg before, I actually want to use the default character!

A fantastic balance between toughness and sexiness, I think. And I love the hair!

How about no romances and our characters just have a solo cutscene?
