I liked (or more accurately admired Yuna) but Rinoa, yeah. Spent half the game wondering why Squall of all people would be into her. Still haven't figured it out.

Thinking of characters that would fit in the DA universe, April Ryan (The Longest Journey) and Velvet Velour (Vampire the Masquerde: Bloodlines) come to mind. There are many others that I would love to have as my LI of course, but those are the ones I feel fit the DA universe the best.

LoL  So did I, and I agree she would be excellent.  Loved The Longest Journey, but couldn't get into DreamFall  for the same reason ME  is still sitting (almost) unplayed on my HDD, I hated the interface.

April would be (one of?) my FemHawke's LI for sure!

Yay! I'm glad to there's some love for my favorite female character ever (well, tied with Leliana). I loved both TLJ and Dreamfall though. I actually played Dreamfall first and loved it so much that I had to play TLJ. Best decision I ever made!

April would be such an awesome fit in the DA universe and her personality would be so interesting to explore further.

EDIT: I also have Mass Effect installed on my HDD but untouched...

Dreamfall's April Ryan isn't the April Ryan I love. I mean, she's great, but she's not the sweet innocent girl from The Longest Journey. That's the April Ryan that I deem to be my favorite female character ever (along with Leli...).



April did get quite a makeover in Dreamfall...







I'm going to make a banner for April Ryan for F/F LI!

Damn, this is making feel so nostalgic...

Lovely concept art!

And I agree about the character progression. She's tired of everything (which explains the slightly b!tchy attitude) and her look somewhat reflects it. I just hope Dreamfall wasn't the last we see from her. Not that I didn't like Jaded April (I did!) but I want a return of the sweet innocent girl.

Ahem, back to DA2 F/F discussion (don't want to get accused of derailing the thread).

Well, if you're both saying that April Ryan would make a great LI for DA2 then you're simply outlining your reasoning for your answer to the question I asked. So, I'd say you're very much on topic.
