Hmm I've decided that I would really like it if the female LI had a good sense of humor...

Definitely a must.  Angry, depressing and moody are a no go. :)

Since i kinda know that i will end up useing the funny options with my hawke i fear that my party will become some kind of Kirkwall Comedy Club. Hosted by your Moderator Flemeth! :P

Sorta. :D

Haha, yes. Plx no emoshoo loveinterest! I am up for all kind of crazy, but selfpitty as a major Characterfeat... thats a no go for me. Same as ignorance.

Angry and/or moody could work, if done right...

Flemeth as a mod. Lol!
Well, yeah, humorous banter between FemHawke and her FemLI is a must!

Loved the banter between my FemShep and Liara in Lair of the Shadowbroker. Lines like that, superbly delivered and with a kind of easy, familiar humour, would just be excellent. :wizard:

Agreed! I am all for funny, snarky banter between LIs! Also i am for deeper thoughts and careing conversations! I just wanted to point out that i am no fan of overdramatic conversations. Theres nothing that kills my Immersion faster than dialogue that could have also happend in a bad sitcom. ^^

That's a fantastic idea, funny dialogue is always a plus :) . The funny comments between the various team-mates in DAO were great, now that we can actually have them with Hawke and her LI, that should make it even better!

Damn, after those pictures, I REALLY want Tilda Swinton in this now. That black & white photo was especially glorious.

Agreed! She is very sexy. She'd make a great mage... all sophisticated, cool and mysterious.

Has it ever been done right?  Angry/moody characters annoy me to the point I just want to yell at them. :)  Although a nice balance between various moods is good.  Don't want a companion to be all sunshine 24/7.

Well, i dont like idiotic super happy and superniceyyyyy bimbos. Totally agree with yout here.
But i personally totally like and admire Persons who can see something positive in any given situation no matter how dire it looks. If that charcterquirk is coupled with a snarky dry humor i really could like it. That was one of the things i liked about Allistair.... till someone mentioned Duncan. >.<

I think you just described me. I see the positive side of everything, even tragic events. My philosophy is that everything happens for a reason.

But "oh yay, the world is full of colors and we should all hug 24/7".... yeah, not me.

I have a thing about snarky. Annah from Planescape: Torment was just fabulous in this regard (think a Scottish accent really helped). And there was another character in the game, Fall-from-Grace, who I thought was a wonderful example of a character who could see the positives without being bimbotic (not a word!). Shame you could only play a bloke in the game, I s'pose, but the female characters were very awesome. x

I can't say I'd have any dealbreakers, honestly... I enjoy romantic plots too much, and I have faith that Bioware won't make anything totally loathsome.

Err....remember JACOB!!!!!

But the Dragon Age writing team isn't the same as Mass Effect. I mean, the Dragon Age team has Mary! and Sheryl! :D

Our Leli, while not quite always the optimist, fits enough close here; while that was great, it'd be interesting to get someone quite different personality wise as f/f LI this time around...

This! :wizard:

As adorable as Lels is / was, you can't keep repeating yourself. We need diversity and for that reason I'd like to see a character very different from Silk Fox or Leliana.

I think we have covered everything in this thread. :)  At this point I just want a strong female warrior or maybe a (bookworm) mage.

Someone like Natalie Portman. She's intelligent and can hold her own, without being too girly.

But wait, I think there's a character like that already... Oh, Bethany. And Hawke can't romance her sister, so darn on that, I guess.
