No Hilary Swank?
YES!
Now, there is your Amazonian warrior right there! Look at that body! Run, Hilary, run!
Serious point though... there is no reason your LI shouldn't be smoking hot. But, by the same token, there is absolutely no reason smoking hot can't also mean lithely muscular.

Well, dont get me wrong, but isnt a lithely muscular Figure the definition of healthy and attractive looks?
Consider that nearly every Actress/Model that isnt superskinny but "normal" looking and attractive to our eyes (i.e. Hillary Swank, Olivia Wilde, Heidi Klum etc etc) do some very serious workout/gym + have an cook with an eating plan and stuff.
So yes, ofc a smoking hot female has some lithe muscels. But u shouldnt fool yourself thinking that such a lithe musculatur is nearly sufficient to carry heavy plate Armor around or swinging a twohander for hours. Just pointing out, i am all for attractive Li.
JK, who isnt?
Just saying that a Warrior LI, if taken with an realistic apporch in terms of body, wouldnt be just lithely musceld and have model-body-proportions.

No, I don't agree. Muscle is still largely considered a no-no for women. An awful lot of actresses are verging on the anorexic. Whilst I really like Olivia Wilde... it can’t be denied that the woman is stick thin. Women with fit, toned bodies like this in the entertainment business are in the minority. And I'm well aware that to swing such weapons and wear such armour for an extended period you would need far more muscle than this - I never actually said otherwise <_< - but it is at least more into the realms of credibility and that is all I'm asking for.

I agree with Uncanny, adding at least this amount of muscle weight to female warrior brings her a step closer to a credible sword and heavy armor type.

Well, i think this largly depends on how you define "muscle" on a woman. If you consider a stomach with a slight definiton of the abdominals as "slightly musceld", than i think its not considered a no-no. ^^ I think this is attractive and i also think that the trend in the entertainment business goes, thankfully so, away from the anorexic looks. Think about... Rhianna, or Angelina Jolie! Also Scarlett Johanssen (rotty actress or not
Imo that anorexic look was and is still mostly found on (no-name) models, not that much on actresses. Also, i might be wrong, but isnt that anorexic look shunned by the public? Arent trash newspapers and magazins like the Sun always pointing out that, for example, Victoria Beckham is way to slim? Or didnt needed Megan Fox to get a few pounds to play her role in Transformers 2?
My point was that a fit body is considered hot, there is after all a reason for privat body trainers and gyms. ^^ The anorexic look wasnt widly considered hot, even as it had its prime moments. At least as far as i can remember.
And if someone just hungers enough so that his abdominals are visable... well, i think we all agree on the fact that this isnt hot and is not "fit" either. ^^
As for the stamina needed to wear heavy armor etc... We were actually talking about a Warrior LI and u were actually mentioning the "amazonian warrior" in regards towards the picture of Hillary Swank. ^^ All i was doing was pointing out that this kind of muscles is not enough to classify her physique as warrior-ish.
Uhm... so what exactly was your point about this anyway?
But, for sure, its a step in the right direction and i support it. Partly because its still nice to look at, and it doesnt need to be all realstic for me. Logical, but not realistc is an approach i very much like seeing in games.
