Yes... I came around to this idea when I saw the races concept art. I agree that this is a crying shame...

I wanted to see a BA lady qunari Tal'Vashoth who'd go all amazon on the darkspawn with bow and claymore, but alas; it wasn't ment to be.

Just because there's no female Qunari in the main game doesn't mean there won't be one for DLC, certainly DAO had DLC that featured a new party member, for all we know DA2 could have two or three such DLC by the time they're done, and one could easily be a female Qunari, especially since they have the art and presumably they 'want' to have a female Qunari in the game. Plus of course DAO had an expansion which featured a fair number of new party members, you'd assume DA2 likely will also. The likelihood of a female Qunari joining the team at some point via DLC or Expansion seems pretty high to me. So never say never .

It's been confirmed that no lady quinari will show up in the game.

As for why, I'm assuming someone has a personal vendetta against hot muscly women.

A city elf that hates humans.  Fem Hawke must work through her hatred of humans and past injustices to show her that love can truely bloom on the battlefield and together they can build a better world.

I like the idea of turning antagonism into truce into acceptance into respect into admiration into... something more! That has the potential to be a really nice arc... and the ten year span would give you the chance to stop it feeling rushed and contrived.

I'm hoping a potential female LI is Elf since Qunari is out of the question. Made too many rounds with humans.

But i think the fact that there apparently wont be any female Qunari at all means that there is no 3D-Model for 'em.
At least that would make kind of sense. :s Well, lets hope thats all some major hogwash and they will be ingame!

I don't understand the appeal of the female Qunari...the horns and purple skin... meh

but I'm still hoping for my Dalish LI though, especially since the clan Hawke will meet is the clan the warden is from.

Mine  is still smarting from Mr. Gaider's remarks concerning the likelihood of a Dwarven LI.
