But in Jade Empire, when you convince that girl to murder her captive, that is a really horrible scene. An innocent girl is corrupted into being delighted by the bloodshed. It's a clearly Closed Fist action.

I'm not against bumping someone off if they're a dangerous, abusive scumbag - it would certainly be an interesting storyline - but getting the injured party to become a murderer just feels very, very wrong to me and wouldn't suit a positive karma character at all.

Yeah, it was poorly executed I think, but I liked the idea behind it. Making someone stronger.

Yeah, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be an option. Evil aligned PC's should be able to have that choice if they want it.

Oh... I agree! Letting negative karma characters be truly manipulative and more evil would certainly appeal to me! There were times when I was playing as my Renegade character during ME2 that I wanted her to be able to behave far worse!

It was this kind of thinking, (oh, and Uncanny's avi!) that made me raise the "Fallen Templar" meme for Wesley. 
If he's "A bad, bad man!", then rescuing/romancing Aveline (or the other way around) becomes a whole different scenario.

'course the Paysanne Pervertie  approach has its attractions as well.

Hmmm I not so sure I'f I would kill a potential LI's partner anymore... I guess it just really depends on what kind of relationship was going on between them before...

And I certainly wouldn't want them to kill their own partner because I told them to... that's really screwed up...
