This... Being a Christian doesn't mean your homophobic.  Being in a believer in the teachings of Jesus who believed in LOVE for ALL, doesn't mean you have to be conservative ******.

There are different types of Christians, and many other religions that pick on promiscuity. Ignorance like this makes me want to puke. 

Anyway on the topic of Isabela's sexuality. Gaider and Chee have been given many opportunities to deny her bi-sexuality and they have not...
Personally I doubt they would advertise her as a main LI and not expect us to think she's available for both Hawkes...

well, they advertised morrigan for dao and morrigan was the main li for males.  i think gaider and chee are just avoiding talking about romance and more about character.  none of the dev's have brought up her threesome/ foursome in the pearl, i think they are avoiding that.  the only comment i heard that might relate to romance, is that isabela doesn't think future.

The Writers (David Gaider, Sheryl Chee, and others) have NOT advertised ANYONE as a "Main LI". And as far as Isabela is concerned, they have repeated that you don't even have to have to have her in your Party, much less talk to her.  That said, I certainly expect (and hope) that she is a possible  LI for Hawke.  Any  Hawke. 
(And I'm certainly not  ruling her out as "the main LI". )

The main Female LI in BW games (by 'main' I mean the one that is advertised the most) has never been available to both genders. You have:



KOTOR: Bastila

Jade Empire: Dawn Star

ME: Ashley

ME2: Miranda

DA:O: Morrigan



If Isabela is an f/f LI and if she continues to be the 'main' gal, then that would be a first. However, it's possible they could introduce a new female LI in a few weeks and her face starts to get plastered everywhere, and Isabela is never seen again in marketing.

Morrigan was different ... we didn't know her.  We actually know Isabella is fully capable of handling 2 women at once (which is extremely odd for someone who hasn't dabbled in same sex relations before.) 

And we know thanks to Zevran that Isabella has insatiable tastes....

If the threesome with Isabela was only possible with a M/F couple, then I could buy any theories that she was only casually interested in women. But she compliments you right from the start ("it is refreshing to see another woman who answers to no one"), and after the threesome is done she's very interested in Leliana's "bored noble women methods of self amusement".

Isabela is definitely into women.

watching the previews seems to be a rivalry of some sort with male hawke. i'll prolly end up romancing isabela with my male anyway s/s or not, just because i liked what i saw in the previews. either isabela is bisexual or bi curious, because she seems to have a history with men (wonder if she'll bring up Zev in DA2). she flirts with a male warden more then she did a female, im sorta hoping the f/f is not isabela and someone else.

I flirt with men more because it more socially acceptable and theres less of a risk of being turned down, scorned at, etc etc.  I don't really see the validness of this argument...

it's not a big deal she just comments on his strong hands, where she would say to a female its nice to see a woman answering to noone.

i doubt she would only flirt with men because its socially accepted, zev wil flirt with males regardless of who is watching.

Yeah, she is. She compliments the Warden's "strong hands" in a very suggestive tone. With the FemWarden is more a statement of admiration (though still a clear sign of interest).

But like you said, it's understandable given what's socially acceptable. It's safe to assume a person is straight, but one usually has to be more cautious about assuming someone's gay/bi.

The Artstyle isnt the same as in DA:O, due to technical issues. But if one thing prooved really consistent in Biowaregames, it was Storytelling etc.
