I am reminded of the bedroom scene with Liara.  As she and my Fem-Shepard leaned in to kiss, I thought, "Awww, she's still kind of shy about - whoa!"  Seeing her just grab Elena Shepard and pull her into a fiece kiss was surprising and welcome.

Yes, though, I certainly wouldn't mind a shy, bookish librarian, but I would prefer she not be needy.  I think I would prefer the option to find a girl who's a servant, cutpurse, wench, street vender, maid, etc. somewhere, see something special in her, romance her, and have her rise with me to become a significant figure in Kirkwall.  I was actually hoping somthing like that might happen with Iona, but I didn't really think it would.  Of course if we ended up with the option to say, melt the heart of a haughty princess or something, I wouldn't exactly comlplain.

Would you hate me if I wanted her for a possible LI for my MaleHawke too? I mean there may be a guy and a girl that swings both ways as LI in DA2 anywaw as that was a concept that worked in DAO. So why not share the huge, muscular and mean fem qunari warrior please?

We need some female LI that is not stereotype human supermodels for a change. So yes please, give us a qunari female as F/F (and possibly F/M too).

Yes... the more I think about it, the more I like this idea!

That said, she'd probably end up being either A. fawning and endlessly grateful to you or B. a greedy, back-stabbing social climber.

It would just have been nice to have the option to save Iona's life. I'd probably have wanted to install her somewhere safe as my Warden's mistress... although heaven knows what Leliana would have thought about that...

That just reminds me too much of Fable. I'd rather not have some annoying NPC whining at me for not coming home with sex and money, and then finding that despite being away for a day, my baby has grown into a six year old. Bleh, I like the companion romance just fine!

I'd love to have a really tough female LI, a warrior type. Leliana was just fine, but she was very girly... "oh, the shoes!" ... and a tad clingy at times. Well, all the characters were a bit like that. But anyway, I'd love a romance option who wants Hawke, but doesn't need her. Alternatively, a character similar to Samara from ME2, who's devoted to some code (like a female templar?) and is quite distant at first, even though she wants to open up to Hawke. Only, the romance would actually end up going somewhere ... unlike in ME2.

NO NO NO The Uncanny most be wrong ! I swear i saved Iona . I sacrificed a night of passion with her to save her.I may be wrong but i thought your  mother only talked about her friend being killed .

She dies either way. While there is no official confirmation of her death if you don't sleep with her, her daughter is still alone in the Aleinage, saying "momma said she'd bring me something back from Highever", which means she hasn't returned. Why would that be?
