Probably endgame, I think she might be a late companion like the one that we got in DA:O (maybe she'll join you if you decide to help the chantry or something, I doubt she'll be an LI however:( )

Perhaps this has already been covered, but DA2's Isabela seems like she's actually the Isabela from DAO, which makes her a shoe-in as a bisexual LI if she's an LI at all. I do have to say, she already intrigues me more than Leliana did--Leliana was cute and a sweet girl with a heartwarming romance and all, but she's really not my type.

Still holding out hope for a female warrior romance for us girlies, though. Human or (better yet) Qunari, with a hard, stoic, and prickly outer shell that gradually opens up as the relationship develops. No breakdowns and definitely no crying, though. Ideally with a little versatility, such that she could pursue a PC who shows interest but doesn't make the first move, or respond to one who's more pro-active.

And I must say that if Avelline is an LI but not open to femHawke, I will be a very, very sad bear.

Oh yes, it's confirmed (by Mary Kirby, among other BioWare sources) that Isabela IS  Isabela. 
Also confirmed is NO  Quanari LI.  

Beyond that, no confirmations to-date. (And I think we all know we can rule out both Carver and Bethany!  )
