Im so glad that never happened on any of my playthroughs, only done to get achievement and then reloaded. Its bad enough you've torn us apart bioware, dont ridicule him!

Except if i import from my elven playthrough in which he dumped me after the landsmeet, then he can suck it

But i really hope we dont see him at all, or any of our romances, tis just a reminder that our wardens are as good as dead

It's implied in Awakenings you can run off with Anders, he asks what you're going to do after you finish Awakenings.

People who like Alistair like him for various reasons, but it has a lot to do with liking his personality. Personality and voice seem to be the major factors, and then looks. Lots of non-romanceable characters in Origins have fanbases. It isn't at all surprising that the Awakening crew have admirers too.

Won't Hawk recognize Alistair as being a Grey Warden?  The prince thing - he might call him a liar.

I pretty much went "**** you" to Alistair and took the throne by becoming consort.

The worst thing about Alistair's alcoholism ending was that it was plausible.

There's nothing interesting about a drunken cameo, though. (And what a waste of Steve Valentine's talents - what, a cameo?)  It's how Alistair would deal with this scenerio that could be compelling. Seeing a fully developed character reduced to a static blip? Bah. Rather not see him at all.
