I was always amazed how games like Mass Effect and Dragon Age have reached high popularity with some of them being turned to film and books. Also how the love of games have let to the creation of communities like this one bringing people together that would never have meet otherwise. This got me thinking back at the first game that really got me into the gaming world. It was an Action Man game on the ps1 (yes!! Action Man!! i was 10 years old!!) i found the mixture of driving and shooter very fun. I am curious to see what was your first game?

I don't remember my first game probably something on the NES or Genesis I don't really remember I really sucked at games I never really beat any of my old ones, I had plenty of PS1, Genesis, and N64 games like Banjo Kazooie, Donkey Kong 64 and country, Megaman Legends and X4, The Lion King, and a couple of other disney Genesis games like Aladdin. I didn't play games much then and the closest one I got to beating was probably Banjo Kazooie because it was my favorite game back then.

Wow...  That was a long time ago.  It was probably either Defender, Air Raid or River Raid on the Atari.  I'm sure I was around 3 or 4 when I started playing since I remember I was playing before we moved into the house I remember now as home.

A plenty of games on the Amiga... I don't remember them all since I was very very young, but I remember Golden Axe among them.

In 1998 I bought my first computer, a Win 98, and I played my first rpg, which was Baldur's Gate.

I got a whole set of games with my Amstrad CPC 464 which I still have. Earliest I can remember playing was Roland on the Ropes or Harrier Attack I think.

Easy.. the first video game I ever played was an arcade version of Pong, the first game i ever got addicted on was the Star Wars arcade machine, first computer game i ever owned would be Roland in time for the amstrad cpc464.. i still laugh when people complain about loading times, the old amstrad had games on cassette so yes 7 minutes loading a game before you could play it was pretty standard and you got to play it on a monitor that displayed things in shades of green :D
