I got a whole set of games with my Amstrad CPC 464 which I still have. Earliest I can remember playing was Roland on the Ropes or Harrier Attack I think.

YES !!! high 5 amstrad owners !

GO TEAM AMSTRAD!!! People talk about bugs in games today but Rambo 2 on the Amstrad was utterly unplayable. Your health steadily went down and by the time you got to the second screen you were dead, there was absolutely nothing you could do about this you simply died at the second screen.

Pong. The home version. A friend of mine got it when we were 10, I believe (yeah, I'm that old). We thought it was the most awesome thing we'd ever seen. Various games after that.

I do remember wasting an incredible amount of time playing The Bard's Tale in university.

It's fascinating to see how much video games have changed over the years.

My home one was armour battle and poker & blackjack for intellivison in the early 80's. I was amazed.

(then mario, donkey king, kirby, sonic... spiral the dragon?, mdk, mortal combat fits in there somewhere....)

i love golden axe! i use to always be the little dwarf because my brothers and sisters would always take the other characters. remmeber when the games stopped working because they we're to hot? and you'd have to blow on the cartridges? LMAO no memory card either (i think?)

Hmmm... If it wasn't Tetris or Pong, I think it was Battle Chess. Young kid, it was one of the few commands I had memorized on my parents' old computer. Very fun seeing the rook/castle eat people.

Race Mania, hah! Best racing game in my life. Back in 1996, it was the only game made in my country that I am aware of. It's freeware today. You can try it if you wish :D

Yeah, well, mine was Pong.

Thereafter, with my first console I played Pole Position, Joust and Galaga, but can't remeber the order of first played.

Also played Oregon Trail at school alot.

Oh that takes me back. We would end up blowing in it 6 different ways and shaking it and pleading with it. Stupid cartridges.
I think my first game ever was Super Mario Bros and my first PC game was Phantasmagoria. I was far younger than I probably should have been playing that. I still enjoy playing it though and it's just as fun as it was the first time.

I think it was called Pom-Bear or something like that. Basicly a mario-like platform jumper game.

Either this or Normality. Bet no one has ever heard of 'em eh.
