Ya, question or raise a concern about something and you will be belittled...classy!!!

Either get thicker skin for forums or get over yourself... My god man, God forbid they show sarcasm or get annoyed with the constant crying. I love when people on this forum act "appalled" that a dev would dare raise their voice to the forum masses.

Dude, I don't care. Thicker skin? I've got ironhide. Get over myself? For what and why? Because you say so???

I work for a company that gets customer complaints and suggestions I cannot joke about them or belittle the complainer even when the complaint is ridiculous. Obviously Bioware has different standards of behavior for their employees.

I am not appalled I just think it lacks class and showed disregard for a Bioware customer. If a snide sarcastic comment was all there was to add to the conversation they probably should have just said nothing. Feel free to disagree... I'm sure I'll lose sleep over it due to my "thin skin", but I'll "get over it". Posted Image

Well I guess that's why they don't work in customer service then.

Just like everyone who complains about this, what a coincidence! But lets not forget that this is not  a "complaints and suggestions" forum.  I mean sure, it may be used to take in complaints and suggestion, but it is a community game forum, not the same thing as a "at work" environment.  This is developers interacting with the community, hell, you don't even have to be a customer to come here.  So the idea that they have to treat people or treat this place like a 9-5 job, is silly.

I am not appalled I just think it lacks class and showed disregard for a Bioware customer.

Yes, you got me, you're so thick skinned and used to working with people that you find THIS classless, because these are paying customers after all! The forums are completely relevant and similar to a complaints department!

If a snide sarcastic comment was all there was to add to the conversation they probably should have just said nothing.

Because game community forums is serious business?  Their job is to make games, these forums is for us as much as it is for them, to interact with "fans" not "consumers".

If anything, a complainer is a lot better served by hearing that they think his complaint is silly rather than if he hears some soothing B.S. that makes him think they're taking his complaint seriously.

That is her name.

Ah yes, thanks! Anyway, I read some of the other responses here and think that some of us need to just take a deep breath and chill out and/or be nice to each other. The devs on these forums tend to joke around with us. They're not trying to be mean and stomp on anyone's feelings - it's tongue-in-cheek. I think the assumption is that most of us actually understand that.

If it makes you feel any better, you should see the TOR forums - the amount of fear and irrational nerdrage there could power a million coffeemakers.
