I'm trying to install the Dog Mod, but keep getting an error about not being able to find "DAUploader.xml"

I am NOT a computer geek, I don't know what it's talking about or what to do about it. When I "search all files & folders", I do find "dauploader", but not one with ".xml" specifically mentioned. Any suggestions in clear English?

Registering the game on here and following the instruction in the "Read first" thread is a good way to start. Personally, I don't like being called a geek who haven't earned the right or permission to do so. It's a negative term to many people. Just because you don't know how to do something, I should be insulted?

1.  This thread is worm food, and belongs in its grave.

2.  The forum's discussion language remains as English, no matter what it's translated to when you see it (and no matter how you set things, your non-English comments remain non-English).

See the solutions round-up thread pinned to the top of this forum. If you need help beyond that, see the read-first thread for posting instructions (in other words, if the solutions linked are too technical, post a clear question about the solution). Your other option is to try to 1.05 beta patch, which will fix your issues with daupdater, but it can cause some very long load times.
