Hey guys,its the second time I'm playing BG2..the last time I played was ages ago...
anyway,I have a problem with chosing my companions.I'm a half orc Barbarian-great for tanking.but for some fights 1 tank is simply not enouth,so I took Anomen for off tanking and buffing..Mazzy as a frontline damage(also good for off tanking).I also got Yoshimo for opening locks and traps,edwin as my spellcaster and viccy mainly for healing and protection spells..My party is fine,had maybe 1 or 2 wipes but it just doesn't feel right :3.I want to take Haer'Dalis instead of mazzy and make Anomen a full tank together with my barbarian..Now i can't take keldorn because he has those issues with viccy and Minsc and Jaheria are too far behind now(my char is lvl 12 while they are only 9)..so I just need to know if this group formation is good-

1.YAEV(my char)-barbarian Tank
2.Anomen-Fighter/Cleric Off tanking and supporting the group with buffs
3.-Haer'Dalis-Blade Frontline damage dealer and party buffs
4.Yoshimo-Bounty Hunter for opening locks and traps and ranged damage
5.Edwin-Mage spellcaster damage dealer with some nice summoning spells
6.Viccy-Cleric for Healing and protection spells.

another question-should i dual class yoshimo to a fighter?(he is already a lvl 14 BH)I plan to take Imoen and kick out yoshimo when I can anyway...

Your group would work, but for Haer'Dalis to stand at the front you should study the most basic mage protection spells and arm him properly (Belm, Kundane, Offensive Spin). Otherwise he'll die a lot and not to much good when alive.

If you dualclass Yoshi to a fighter you won't have a thief for some time, so there'll be nobody to disarm traps or open locks for you.
