Noob question... I do mostly exteriors, and am getting back into interior work... can't find a window placeable!  Can find *effects* and several... can somebody sell me a vowel?

In many instances, the windows are part of the tiles. You can have drapery to suggest a window.

Oooh. Okay, I'll run through my SI tiles again and see what I can find. Thanks.

Just ran through, and I'm either having a huuuuge brain fart, or I'm missing something fundamental about tiles. Can you give me an example of a windowed tile?

A number of the estate tiles have built in windows.

Also, not sure if you know this or not, but tiles have multiple versions indicated by the number next to them. The up and down arrow keys let you page through them. Some have standard interiors have windows tucked away in these alternate apoearacnes.

The windows in the tiles are tiny. The best way to fake windows is using the curtain placeable. If you reduce the directional light of the area, and place a light source before the curtain, it looks quite well.

BCK II has windows in it, but not for Interiors, per se. I don't know how well they'd work being placed in the interiors, but you could scale them, place some kind of effect over them and see where it goes from there.

Chaos Placeables 1.8 for Nwn2 also claims to have window placeables in them. There might be some of them from here:

Stained Glass Windows which has some fairly gorgeous stained glass windows. Funny, though, it seems your average everyday window has been given pretty short shrift on the interiors. Weird. I guess they expect you're always going to be underground or something.

This one: Gothic Home Interior has a window or two in it and it is an interior.

Speaking of Kingdoms:

RWS Pocket Castle is a castle interior and does have some windows. I don't think they have any placeable windows. Honestly, I love their stuff, but haven't messed with interiors of any other than stock assets. I tend to be an Exterior Builder for the most part.

Also, looking on the Vault, there is another Faerun Stained Glass, also by Arpharazon. I didn't link it, because I am pretty sure that the other offerings probably already contain these.

The whole problem is you are not using all the tiles as said. Place a wall (lets use the estate tileset for a working example) and press up or down to cycle through the wall styles and the many window configurations.

Can't you also right click on the room icon to cycle through the changes in appearance?

Oh, that's good to know, baron. I didn't see more than one or two window types in the screenies and the description didn't specify if there were window placeables that I saw. So thanks for the correction. Since my last computer meltdown, I haven't added back any of the Custom Content that I have saved on DVD. So I couldn't check directly.

I knew there had to be a special key! Up and down arrows, awesome, thanks for the tip.
