Same Problem here with the addon Stone Prisoner. Seems to realy come from patch 1.01
- downloaded and installed Stone Prisoner on retail.
- played this way and did get Shale in the party
Then I patched the game. Now this content is marked as unauthorized. If I want to play my safe again, I have to log out. Logged in, I am forbidden to play this absolutlety brilliant game from my safe.

This is better fixed soon. I`m loosing my faith to all this microtransactions if it goes this way.
- we players deserve this issue Bioware moderated and of course fixed in short terms

(ps: big thanks to Players making workarounds for things like this, but realy this is Biowares Job. I just want to play and not test 30 steps of workarounds)

I agree,
while I really like the game I've kinda lost interest in it after losing half my items and not being able to use the DLC.
At the very least Bio could make a sticky on what issues they are currently investigating, and an ETA on a hotfix and what the effects of the fix might be (i.e. having to start a new game etc.)...

for those with the blank... I believe if you've spoken to Levi the trigger doesn't appear until you try to travel away from the camp.  I've also heard that people who saved the game, reloaded and talked to Levi again have had success getting it to start correctly

Tried this to no avail. I am running the patch and do have the toolset.... is this my problem?

I've also got this problem, its been more than a week and Bioware still haven't released a proper patch. I guess I'm too used to Valve games

An unknown promotional item has been found. Urecognized items will still be available and recognized by the system and game they are intended for. this is in my list...can that be it???

for those with the toolset try this:



Fix for strange issues with my game such as scripts not firing or party interactions not working and “Module will not load”



This is often caused by the Dragon Age Toolset. If you have the toolset installed and you’ve messed around with it (including beta versions), the toolset may be overriding the scripting of the single player experience. The fix:



1) Load toolset, goto tool > export > Empty Export Directories



2) FIND:

Windows XP: My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\modules

Windows Vista: Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age\\modules

*Delete the single player folder*



3) FIND:

Windows XP: My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override

Windows Vista: Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override

*Delete everything in this folder*

I do not have the tool set. I was playing the game when I realized that the items I was using from Warden's Keep disappeared and Shale's abilities were blank. When I saved and logged back in, I got a quest flash for Wardens Keep and then Quest Complete notice and Shale was working correctly, however the items were not working correctly.



I suspect that it has to do with the authentication system for the DLCs. That being said, I will not be buying another DLC and waiving my friends away from them as well until this has been resolved in a way to not happen. This is just one more example of DRM ruining a product I have paid good money for and I'm tired sick of it.

Unless you got a Warden's Keep card and entered the code, you do not have it.  I purchased the CE version and still had to buy WK.

Great advice.... but I haven't loaded the toolset at all, much less played around with it..... I just have it installed. I don't have a modules folder or anything in the core override folder....


And it still has the same problem.... I'm trying a brand new game to see if that will work...

Are you sure? The digital deluxe edition from Steam has all the DLC available.

He said he bought it from a store.  I assume Steam e-mails the codes, though I have no idea.

I suspect it has not worked for most. 

I did notice that if I went to a save to when I knew I had access, it should up.  So, saved games maybe corrupted or tagged in some way.

Is there a console code somewhere to advance the quest stage?

I'm not positive that the save I just tried was an entirely fresh one.... So I'm going to try AGAIN.

I've tried downloading the settings file from other forums. I've also tried disabling/enabling and that does not work either. I also tried deleting the warden's keep folder but i just asks me to buy it again. I might have to rely on torrents, clearly I'm too used to having developers actually release patches effectively and quickly.

I agree 100%, its rather stupid that you will get a more functional game if you torrent it rather then buy it. Honestly I am pretty sure had I just torrented the game I would have been able to use the DLC without any problems.

Either I get some free DLC later on or I will boycott all Bioware games from now on.

You can find torrents for all the promo items and the DLC... sadly this doesn't help with my issue.... [I should know I got shafted with my DLC stuck at 0% and had to add them the hard way.... they all work except for this one issue]
