Well nugs are plentiful.

Dwarfs need new weapons to combat darkspawn.

New explosives.

Put them two together and you have a lethal weapon of unknown destruction.

Yes for nugbombs.
I'd love to see a high end version for those situation where you absolutely, positively kill every monster in the room

I don't think dwarves are quite so cruel as a race to suddenly take up exploding nugs. Besides, the nug wranglers (including my Wardens) would rise up and smack 'em down pretty fast, I bet.



My vote is no.

WE had a quest in DA:O to collect nugs and a quest in awakenings for explosives.

I do not see why you cannot put them together if only for the dwarfs in the game to experiment on.

I am pretty sure the dwarf that made explosives would do it.
Besides they eat sell and breed the things.
Giving them to whoever has the coin.
Is that not cruel in its own right?
Who knows what the person may do to it.

I always thought Dwarves considered the nug as a food source. Caring for something they would eat doesn't seem likely; but wasting a food source would be a no.

nugs are a food source to dwarves as much as squirrels are a food source to us. They are way too small for any real meat

That is also true.

Besides mostly casteless have nugs and are desperate for money.

I am sure they would be fine trading their nugs for real money to use for real food.
