For some reason, this is one forum in-joke that I never caught on to. I was there for Ponytail, Nutella, Varric's anthropomorphic chest hair, spicy shimmies, etc., but for some reason this one passed me by and now it just looks as weird as I expect those other things do to normal people.

But it's no joke. Even the devs thought that it was a silly joke, according to David Gaider, but actually, we are very serious about the Nug Bombs. And we still hope that we'll get an answer.
But then, Peter Thomas said that the Nug Bombs are plot/story related, so...

I cannot help but feel as though this thread has languished somewhat. I had a thought, regarding the Nug bombs...people aren't really going for them because it doesn't seem that humane to use a small hairless pig-bunny as some sort of suicide bomber, right? Couldn't it be some kind of spelled construct? Like, you could buy a Nug Doll from Wonders of Thedas or something, then have a mage use lifebloom on it or something and bring it to a kind of semi-life...enough to use it as a bomb If it isn't a REAL nug, it must be okay!

Your suggestion is really cool, I wouldn't mind to have a "Nug Doll Bomb", that way, people who don't want to use a real Nug will be more comfortable, and people who want the bombs, will still have them.

I must admit, however, that a real exploding Nug would be funny.

I also believe that Nug Bombs should be available in stacks of five and that you should be able to breed them. Varric should oversee the process.

Since im back after 3 months of inactivity i should respond.

Unless mods want me to make a new one.

We can always change it to nugs carry armed bombs and drop it at specific points in battle.

Of course if someone attacks it the nug will go boom.

So it should be attackable after giving it orders.
