Why do I recognise the band name Disturbed... they did a Tears for Fears cover didn't they? They also done Down With the Sickness as well! Now I remember :happy: Good band!

sorry to break it for ya but that linkin park song and the 2 disturbed tracks you mentioned above arent really the
best counter examples.coz disturbed is a metal band and linkin park is kinda  a mix of everything with their last singles and albums

Metal is a "branch of rock", and Linkin Park also fall under the rock/alt rock umbrella.

I think you kinda missed the point of what Adriano was saying and the counter points I was trying make. I was listed songs by rock/metal groups that didn't fit the sterotype of drums/electric guitar/crap singer (screaming/growling I'm guessing) while the ones you posted are exactly the kind of music Adriano said he disliked (not that they're bad songs per se, just not good for the point I was trying to make).
