 Got DAO from steam , took all the time to download and can't play on my laptop but works fine on my desktop so is there going to some sort of patch for this or anyone else got the same problem and any solution to this PLS help

I have a Dell XPS m1730 and it works fine, get the newest video drivers form Nvidia and you are golden, I get good FPS with everything max and 2x AA hope it helps.

I have a Dell XPS 1730 with 2xNvidia 8700er und it runs godlike^^ try updating all your drivers

yeah i have the newest drivers 186.81 but still nothing , getting again just incase

Not all models were exactly the same, and the OP failed to name specific variables affecting performance (CPU, GPU, RAM), so the question isn't a complete one.

Even my 2 years old 1530 runs the game reasonably good. It must be something with your drivers.

I too have an xps 1730 running vista 32 sp 2, nvidia 8700mgt, latest drivers and game does not work (installs fine but freezes when I hit "play"). Absolutely no help from ea....

there are known issues with the steam install, please look at some steam threads and fix your prob. this isn't a driver issue.

I did not get the game from steam...It's the collectors edition on CD. It's been 2 weeks now and I can't play.
