Anyone else found this random encounter where you come across some locals pulling a boy out of the crater of a Meteor (Indeed, he seems to have arrived on it, since he seems familyless and the couple take the child to raise him)?
Well, you get a lump of meteoric ore from the remains of the meteorite, and I was wondering if anyone knew the Smith of sufficient skill to forge something of it, mentioned in the item's description?

It also reminded me of superman... and made absolutely no sense to me. Maybe it was just supposed to be a joke?

It was just a typical "easter egg". Along with the "aren't you too small for a guard" line later in the game.
