Seems to me like the problem might be bending over at the waist? Even when they pick things off the ground, people in the game crouch, they don't bend straight over. So leaning over to kiss and stuff seems problematic. Kneeling is a nice solution there!



I felt like culturally it was hardest to picture my dwarf with any of the LIs. But Dalish can be tricky, too, and it's all in how you roleplay.

LOL true or that he looks like he's eating her brains instead of kissing her.  I guess that would fit with Awakenings Alistair who did the WC.  Cmess said her Warden ran away with him after the events in that expansion even though he was dead...I guess this particular zombie Alistair would like cheese with his brains

I absolutely loving this coming to terms with being a Warden in a world that is not her own, while learning to trust your fellow Warden who is a human of all things. It's a looong and bumpy process, but a very endearing and rewarding one <3 And if you look closely enough those two totally different worlds they lived in aren't so different after all, like it probably seemed in the beginning. I like the two- against the rest the world feeling this pairing has for me, because a Dalish doesn't really care much for the humans save for the one she loves (Alistair) and likes (her companions) ...Well at least mine doesn't :innocent:  She would go to the Black city itself and back for the ones she cares about...but for the rest of Ferelden's popularity? Also my current playthrough as a M!Dalish awoke a big love for the M!Dalish/Morrigan pairing, because they have obviously much in common. This wildness, being close to nature and being foreign to the World beyond their borders etc. Also I like this classical defrosting the ice queen scheme thing going on here. The ending is how we all know a heartbreaker.

Leliana's romance is too sugary sweet for my taste. I simply love and need my bittersweet drama which both of my fave romances offers plenty. I yet have to complete a full Zevran romance, he clearly suffers hard from the eternal best buddy image in my head. Ooops.

Mage (any race/gender combo, though I prefer human male) + Zevran. They've both effectively been slaves, subject to attempts at brainwashing, part of social minorities and/or organizations that are feared. The manner of execution was very different, though, so there's enough similarity that they can each understand each other, but enough different that their relationship isn't marked by unsettling convergence. I prefer pairing humans with Zev because it's such a forbidden thing, it's like a big middle finger at Chantry-based perceptions.



Second to him is Morrigan+pretty much anyone. I like the ones that are hard to get, apparently--easy to lay but hard to love.

My human Mage+Morrigan, and My Male Cousland+Leliana. I did all of the romances and i liked those two the best, i may be biased because i am a guy but Claudia black playing Morrigan was just so awesome. And Leliana's character was quite sweet.



I really hate that during my first play through as the male mage i talked to Zev too much and Awakening considered my character and him an item, when i specifically said in dialogue that i would find Morrigan and it was that relationship that i pursued.

Oh!  My friend, you are in for a treat.    Lots of them, in fact.  I point you to the most excellent Improved Romance Scenes-Alistair page and to tmp7704's project page, where I can recommend all of his work, especially the proportion fixes.  His mild romance scenes are included in IRS so no need to download them separately.  Also to DahliaLynn's page for Alistair's First Night and Alistair's Kiss.  I have videos up of pretty much all of these.  Seriously, you'll wonder why BW hasn't hired these people already.  For Zevran you'll want ejoslins ZDF which fixes dialogue and plot flags.

Omg ty SO MUCH! Think imma start my first Dwarf playthrough now. :D:D
