Wondering if there's a negative side to heading out to the Magic Circle to get mages to do the ritual, or does some serious negative effect happen if you do?  I was planning on trying it but while exploring the castle i ended up triggering the Kill Connor/Demon sequence instead, thought i could sneak by him, silly me.

Only problem I had was that I couldn't save the blacksmiths daughter. As I didn't go upstairs in the castle after Connor ran off. I guess you either save the noble son or get the blacksmiths daughter ?

Don't you save the blacksmith's daughter way before you ecounter Connor? I seem to remember her in one of the rooms close to where you enter the castle through the secret passage...



I've only called in the circle mages once, and it didn't seem to make a difference. No additional deaths and I could deal with the demon just fine. Also no difference to what happened with Jowan. But I had done the circle quests before going to Redcliffe that time, maybe it's different if you still have to fight through the entire tower? I also don't know what happens to this option if you eradicate the circle.

The smith's daughter is in a room pretty much as soon as you leave the dungeon. I saved her very early, so there wasn't any dilemma I encountered...

You can do the circle tower in the middle of the Redcliffe quest. You get that option to go to the circle, and you just start the broken circle questline when you go there. It makes no difference.



The only difference calling them in makes is in approval rating. If you don't do it, Alistair will get pretty mad at you. If you do do it, you get an extra scene with him where you get major approval next time you return to camp, iirc, or maybe that was just for saving the village.

u can save smiths daughter very early on when u sneak in the castle.
further i also triggered thr demon fight by being to curious about whats on the top (2nd) floor of the castle

Don't worry about "time is urgent" either. Feel free to travel all the way to Denerim and back 20 times then do the mage tower, and the folks at Redcliffe won't notice a thing.

You can do everything and the part members and the people from Redcliffe ill love you Save Connor and his mother by calling mages from Circle of Magi save Blacksmith daughter AND the blood mage Jowan if you want i SAVED everyone!!!!



I even got all these to help me defend Redcliffe and didnt let them die it was HARD as HELL some of them is too weak and have an AI too stupid but i did it.

-Tomas- A Human

-Lloyd - The Tavern Owner
