(Playing BG1 with EasyTutu installed.)
Is the Inquisitor immune to the effects of web? I know they are immune to hold, but my pally/inquisitor has never been trapped in a spider's web after several encounters.
He isn't using anything that would make him immune either, nor is he under the effects of a spell or scroll.
I just wondered whether they are immune to any form of holding at all.

Um nope.

You are talking about Keldorn, who wears a special armor that gives him immunity to Web.

But the class itself, nope.

No my main PC is an inquisitor and he's been in the middle of several spiderweb traps and never been caught, whilst everyone else has.

Maybe it's because pallys have better saves - I dunno.

Err, maybe you have some mod or something that changes the Inquisitor class, but I definitely remember Keldorn being webbed in the vanilla game if I used anything but his own armor.

After all, thats why I never used anything but his original armor on him, even deep into ToB.

Hmmm... I'm just using the EasyTutu mod and the G3 tweak pack, neither of which affect the Inquisitor class as far as I know.

My initial thought was that as they are imune to Hold, inquisitors would be unaffected by webs and entangle, so I've been charging headlong into webtraps and web spells with my main.

I guess that he's just been lucky with his saves. I'll check the feedback the next time it happens.

My mistake.

Last night I had my party mages cast web and then had my main pally run around in the AoE. He seemed fine for the first csting of the spell but was trapped on the second casting. I think it must just've been the kick-ass saving throws that paladins get that kept him from getting caught previously.

The worrying thing is that I also assumed the immunity extended to things like ghoul/ghast paralysis, as I've always had him charge straight into melee with any such undead. Now I know better I'll be holding back a bit more I think.
