Lady Hawke has been confirmed playable at PAX. It was just announced on the biofeed twitter.

If anyone gets the chance to play Lady Hawke at PAX or knows someone who does a recounting of their experiance would be most appreciated!

Yep, that's her. She looks very much like the girl in the bit of art just posted, but with shorter hair in the front.

Well it was also comfirmed on Gamescom but she was outgreyed and not playable

I want some popcorn for the reactions when she is revealed, there will be someone who doesn't like her and we'll get some entertaining ranting.

As someone else pointed out... whats the big deal with femhawke? She's not the poster boy of the game like male hawke so while there will prob be a default face, it's gonna be no different then making a female character in DA:O really.



I would be interested in seeing the default face, but some people seem to think it's a huge deal, which is the part I dont get.

If you don't care about seeing Lady Hawke then this really isn't the thread for you. There are thousands of others out there find your own.  No one cares that you don't care.

People want Female Hawke is to be treated equally and be recognised as the main character of DA2 and not be a subverviant option to Male Hawke.  Yes, in 2010 there is still massive inequality around.

The only problem with fem Shepard is that all default faces are really ugly, so you have to spend quite some time at character creation screen.

I don't think that will be seen in the next 2 month... actually the graphics didn't look that great on Gamescom... the Textures are higher in resulution but almost no sharder effects were ingame. Actually DA:O looked better/more atmospheric @ that time.

Let them work on the graphic 1 or 2 month ^^ shader effects are easy to add so it is only logical to add them later in the development

Why does anyone care what she looks like? I'm willing to bet 90% of everyone who buys DA2 and picks Lady Hawke will edit her to look any way. But if she is shown, I think she will look just like Bethany, just a little older, and have that red war paint/blood on the bridge of her nose just like Male Hawke.

If you personally don't care, is there any reason to even comment? Why not go and ogle at Garret's beard and pecs if you couldn't be less interested in what the developer's female lead will look like? 

No reason to snap at them, they made a perfectly fine comment. Sometimes I wonder why it's such a big deal too, apart from wanting to see a female and not be Ms. boobs of the game. I plan on playing through first as def male.
And if you don't care about the male lead of the game either or what the developers male lead looks like, why even bother with it? Both can be custom either way and a lot of people seem to like Garret.
