I am liking the short hair! If it is indeed a short-haired style. It flatters her face shape. Still... I'm not sure whether I like the design or not since I cannot see (with clarity) what she looks like. If she looks far too young in the face or has Bethany proportions, I may cry on the inside.
I'm hoping she looks like aimo's version, basically.

Screw the pixie cut. I want long hair, either free flowing or in a lovely braid.
If u figure out a reasonable way to rig long flowing hair and pull of an collusion system for the rest of the body, u might get it! Alternatly u can just rig it and animate every strand of hair for every freaking animation. And plx more than one variation for said animations. U dont want it to look repeativ!
Long hair has been done in many games. It's not impossible, but if they didn't want to take the time to animate it properly, well, then the pixie-cut is what we will get.
Yea, and you can always look at miranda for an analog. Especially since they've liberally borrowed other aspects of ME2.

I also think its kind of a salute to female gamers of a sort because for some reason women equate empowerment to shorter hair.
Er, I wouldn't say that's true. Women equate being able to cut your hair with empowerment, since women had to wear it long to attract men in ye olden days of yore. I could take that line to mean "Women equate looking like a man with empowerment", but I won't.
Short or long hair, I don't really care. I like how it looks on her face, from what we've seen. I myself will create my own character, but she looks good.

Unfortunately, my knowledge of what marketing has planned extends to the times I get an e-mail saying 'HEY WE NEED A VIDEO CAPTURE OF THIS SCENE IN HALF AN HOUR'. For some reason, they never want one of the five minute Dollars-trilogyesque standoff that I swear I will find a place for in the game.marquiseondore wrote...
John has graced us with his presence. Can you tell us if there will be a Lady Hawke wallpaper released before the end of this year?
All you need to do is supply a good high-res screenshot of the LadyHawke - there should be enough able people on this forum to make a nice wallpaper out of it. ^_-

What happens when the darkspawn get into the kitchen? The kitchen holds many an instrument of pain, death and destruction.
For example: broom stick + carving knife + string = glaive.

short hair? REALLY?
ugh
It take it you don't like Linda Evangelista either then, she had short hair for most of her career
You'd be correct, i don't find her unattractive but even with longer hair she is no more appealing. I'm of the mind that short hair only works for some girls. Also I, like most most men statistically speaking, prefer girls to have their hair down rather than up. I know it gets in the way and wouldn't at all be practical for battle and what not and i think that is more of what bioware is aiming for. I also think its kind of a salute to female gamers of a sort because for some reason women equate empowerment to shorter hair.
Linda is king, only one to beat single handedly Megan Fawkes
Short hair pretty much calls for a very beautiful face, an ok face with short hair makes an uglier woman. But hey it's a game, they can make Lady Hawke have any face they want, even Linda's (yes devs, if you read that's a hint!

I want some popcorn for the reactions when she is revealed, there will be someone who doesn't like her and we'll get some entertaining ranting.
And God forbid !! if she ends up with double DDs

She truly looks "Greek". I would love to have "Lady Hawke" to sport the hair ornament, jewelry (hearings and necklacke) from the woman in Hawke's flashback as well. A Greco-woman archetype is called here, truly.
Bioware, do please give our "FEMME Hawke" a wider selection of hairstyles, from "funky bobs to shoulder length, to long flowing ponytails that are sleek and stylish.
Thanks.
