He confimed that the game will still be tactical and have alot of action awesome!

I asked about the Nutella blood smear, Gaider said it was Blood Magic.

Then why the heck does Hawke have it in the beginning of the game? (even after the exagerrated part)

Okay here are all the new bits of info or hints etc. that I wrote down in case they havn't already been said here:

• David Gaider wrote Cassandra (mine!)
• Cassandra is Nevarran
• New Mage hats, team agreed on how awful 'condom hats' were. Hoods were mentioned.
• Starkhaven will play a role in the game, but we won't visit it. (mine!)
• Official Lady Hawke pic has been taken, will be revealed very soon
• Some rare comments on a characters speciality, but not really brought up again.
• The Fade won't play a large role in the game, but will be ever present and could still feature etc.
• Sandal will return! Unless that was just an evil joke. "Wouldn't be a Dragon Age game without him"
• Kirkwall bigger than Denerim both IU and from a gameplay perspective.
• There will be Easter Eggs, unconfirmed if they will be Monty Python related.
• Calla S got a reference! "There is someone who really likes Peter Bramhill" He didn't get caught out and reveal the VA though sadly.
• No polearms in DA2.
• Mages now have a proper melee attack for when enemies get too close. Their normal staff attack is improved.
• Temporary followers will be in the game.
• No Werewolves this time.
• No Morrigan clone army
• Further confirmation that right click auto attack is present on PC
• Tantervale will not be visited
• Hawke won't -visably- age over the 10 years, others might.
• Some areas will be visited in both night and day but it won't change while you play.
• Claudia Black will not voice a character in DA2 (could mean no Morrigan, or he could of meant she won't voice a new character in order to keep any Morrigan cameos secret).
• You could choose to believe the size of womens breasts is due to Varric's narrating. (This wasn't said entirely seriously as far as I could tell).
• Due to his wording of the question, 'Pirate Girl' could be a follower. (I thought this was pretty obvious anyway. )
• More confirmation that the Hawke in the trailer is a Blood Mage. He suggested the 'Nutella smear' was due to this, but that doesn't seem to mesh with warrior Hawke's using it. He essentially confirmed that it was optional however (if that was ever in doubt).
• When asked who his favourite character from DA2 is he replied that he really likes Varric, and another who cannot be named.
• Lukas Kristjanson wrote Aveline.
• The silhouettes behind Hawke on the main DA2 image are not all companions but a mixture of people from the game.

I'll add any others I can think of/people point out.

Because the trailer Hawke is a blood mage in general? I mean, it's not like he levelled up and unlocked it mid-way through, he was a blood mage from second 1.



Or, blood-warrior - not sure how they will handle mages with glaives.

Am I the only one that thinks having the portraits in the bottom left takes up way too much screen space? It looks like they're taking up a quarter of the screen- the bottom where most of the combat is going on too...
