I'm still beyond baffled over how the whole Signature Edition is being handled. It's the same price, it's not really a CE, the only additions to it are DLC that no doubt will be available to anyone to purchase, and yet they cut off the preorder date 2 months before release. I've never seen an alternate edition handled so strangely before.
Anyway, I think an artbook from the store should be mandatory for all expansive game releases. ME and DA both should see a full sized hardcover artbook released through the Bioware store for each major game release. It makes perfect sense, it's an item that fits the store's inventory and exclusivity perfectly, and the Art teams are already working with the store through the lithos, and presumably other things like the T shirt designs and such, so why not? There has to be thousands of concepts, thrown away designs, alternate styles, all that sort of thing for Dragon age, that never saw the light of day. Why not put them to good use where they'd be appreciated.
